A Found Cure
*========================*
<<Four Hundred Years Later>>

"Where is Dottore?"

    A tall, elderly man with a strong build, an angular face, and light blue eyes that had diamond-shaped pupils barged into the room. His white hair was swept back off his face and he sported a matching chinstrap beard. The right side of his face was covered by an angular black mask that featured gold engravings and an upwards-curving dark blue engraving where his eye would be. He also wore a single, crystal blue earring on his right ear. He wore a double-breasted white overcoat with dark blue lapels and a collar of black fur. His eyebrows were furrowed as Dottore had missed another Harbinger meeting.

    "He said that he has something more important to do than the meeting," Dottore's clone said in a hollow tone. The male glared down at him and asked, "What could be more important than this meeting?"

    "He made a breakthrough on an experiment he's been working on for so long. A cure to the Winter Frost Illness. But he had to go out and get it since he wants to make sure himself that it is retrieved," the clone said. The male hummed and asked, "Why exactly was he working on that?"

    "I cannot say. It is a confidential matter you have to ask him yourself when he gets back from the expedition," the clone said. The taller male gave a stern glare to the clone and asked, "I will ask you one more time. Why was he so interested in the Winter Frost Illness?"

    "The most I'm supposed to say is what I already told you. If you keep pushing, Dottore is going to be upset when you try to interfere with his need to get the cure," the clone said. The taller male stepped slightly forward as his piercing glare was still on the clone. He frowned and said, "Tell me now."

    "He can tell in the morning. It's going to take the whole day to go get the main ingredient, the rest of the clones are out gathering the rest of the ingredients just as a restock," the clone said. The elder male glared down at the clone as he knew he wasn't getting any more information out of him and turned away. He scoffed and said, "Just tell him that he is needed for the Harbinger meeting tomorrow at 10 o'clock, and whatever he's doing needs to be finished immediately or on hold until after the meeting."

    "Understood. I'll report the matter to him," the clone said. The clone felt his heart sink a little now that another harbinger might now know of the real Dottore's younger sister. He didn't trust that the older male wouldn't go and look up Dottore's file. He sighed and turned around before heading to the lab and then the hidden door in the lab that lead to a hidden staircase. Checking on Mizuki was his top priority at the moment. He made it to the underground area of the lab which looked to be an underground tomb with a glass coffin in the middle surrounded by white roses. The clone sighed as he made sure that Mizuki was still asleep. She had on a white winter dress as Dottore's first Harbinger jacket was laid down under her. Her hands were placed over her stomach as they looked to have frost forming over them. Her light blue hair was fashioned into a braid that dropped over her left shoulder. Her head was resting on the softest pillow money could buy to make sure she was very comfortable despite being in a coffin. The clone sighed softly and said, "Okay. She's alright and still asleep. I should give her the nutrition shots so Dottore won't have to do it later."

    The clone walked to the table next to him with syringes filled with clear liquids. He checked the log book and marked down the time when Mizuki received her important shot. He picked up the syringe and opened the coffin lid before injecting her with the right nutrition she needed for her body to keep functioning while in the comatose state. He patched up the injection site and sighed as he shut the lid gently. He cleaned up the syringe and placed it back down. He felt a pang in his heart. He had all of Dottore's memories of her which is why he was assigned to watch over her until she was cured, then he would deatomized and his memories would forge with original Dottore's.

    "Your big brother is going to be back this evening. You're going to be cured of this dreadful disease," the clone spoke softly. He smiled and continued, "You've always been so beautiful and adorable, Zuki."

    His gaze softens as they rest on the young female's appearance. He was very adamant that the original Dottore missed the feeling of running his fingers through Mizuki's hair and holding her close as they cuddled anywhere. But, for right now, that couldn't happen until she was cured. Though he now noticed a presence behind him and turned to see who it was.
