"What are you doing? You have no chance in this battle." Johnny demeaningly tells me.

"I'm going to kill you, whatever it takes." I yell at him.

"Whatever you say. Let's get this over with."

Promptly, I charge at him with full speed and strength. The wind hurls past my face as I approach the herculean man. Every step carries the weight of all my anger. I'm going to destroy him.

Hurling towards him, I take a huge leap and attempt to tackle him to the ground. Handily, he uses his excellent strength to push me to the ground. A crowd of onlookers applaud.

"Is that all you got?" He asks sarcastically.

    "Not quite." I respond.

I quickly rise and get out my gun.

"What do you think that's going to do?" He asks.

"You'll see, but it has something to do with killing you." I retort, laughing.

The crowd, now silent, stares at me waiting for my next move. I point the gun at Johnny, but he doesn't even flinch.

"This is the part where you run." I remark.

"I could of said the same to you when you showed up."

    "Don't be so arrogant."

He has no idea what he's in for. This isn't just a gun. It's a cutting-edge and destructive laser shooter. This is gonna kill him for sure.

Finally, after the laser is ready, I focus it on his head and pull the trigger. For a split second, everyone stops and stares as the laser traverses through the hot summer air. Gasps fill the crowd as the laser gets closer and closer to his chiseled face.

At long last, Johnny raises his glove to his head and the laser clashes with the glove. A boisterous soundwave blasts off and everyone drops to the ground. Everyone except Johnny. Rising, everyone in the crowd starts to laugh hysterically. He's made a fool of me. The imposing man towers over me with a disappointed look on his face.

"That was pathetic. What happened to you? You used to be a good person. You were my best friend for my entire childhood. We were better than brothers. Now, look at you. You need help. I can give it to you. You don't have to be like this."

I chuckle at his preposterous offer. "You don't want to help me. You're just gonna throw me in jail and leave me to rot. I'll pass."

He sighs and a lady in a white suit approaches him. "Sorry, I would love to continue this little reunion, but there are bigger threats than you." Turning his attention to nearby police officers, "Put him in cuffs. Make sure he never sees light again."

They nod and he flies away on his jet-pack. The officers then charge at me, but I remain calm.

"You don't actually think you're gonna get me, do you?" I state.

Quickly, I grab the gun off of the ground and shoot them all in the head. Shocked, the crowd comes charging at me, but I steal a moving taxi before they can reach me. Maniacally, I drive away and escape from the city.

The glove is too much for any one man to handle. I was a fool for coming with so much oblivity and arrogance. If I'm going to eliminate him I'm going to have to be much more careful and clever, and I can't be alone.

"I can't believe I once called that idiot a best friend. I protect him and he calls me pathetic.  I was too foolish then to see what I see now. Johnny Shield is a completely worthless man incapable of pulling the trigger." I think to myself.

After that enlightening experience, we went our separate ways. Johnny Shield became a so called "superhero" self named Captain Justice. People look at him as a symbol of hope and security for the entire globe. They say he's protecting the world from all "major attacks." Some people are so gullible. They put a man in a costume on their televisions and it fills them with hope. I'll make sure they all feel empty after I'm done.

"The man who saves the day." That's what some call him. He's just a vessel of his glove. After joining this government agency called S.H.A.D.O.W, they awarded him a glove; the most powerful object in the history of the universe. It combines the powers of most powerful elements on Earth and shoves it into a singular object. Probably has enough generanium to change the shape of a city. He shouldn't be in control of this much power. He is nothing without it. He is merely a fake hero who lets his machines do his work for him.

I've sat back and watched while this fool gets all the headlines for "saving the day." How pitiful? He thinks he can defeat anyone in his path, but he is sorely mistaken. He does not know what real power is. The world doesn't know what true power is. When I'm done with him he will be on his knees begging for mercy and I won't be a gracious.
