His name is Alexander Braveheart. He goes by the name Ghost in public because he can instantly turn invisible and intangible. He is one of the most acclaimed villains in the world and has been doing it for over twenty years. He has committed some of the world's greatest crimes, but he hasn't done anything big in a while. I will change that.

On the plane ride there, Jack suspiciously sits close to me again.

"If you want to talk, you don't have to hover over here every time."

"Fine. Let me just say it then. Why are we going to him? He's been past his prime for years now. We can easily get this done without him. All he will do is slow us down."

I knew there were going to be some opposers to Mr. Braveheart joining, but not from Jack. I glance at him and explain. "Alex is the most acclaimed villain in world and you are saying we should not use him? Are you crazy? We could all learn something from him."

"That was a long time ago. He's not famous anymore. More people probably know about Aaron. He's fifty years old and he already walks like he's 70. He's done. Why do you trust this guy so much?"

"I know him well."

"So what? It's not this guys heart that I'm worried about. I don't want to get this guy killed for no reason because he can't keep up. How do you even know him?"

"He's my father."

Jack gives me a disapproving head shake and turns to walk away. The rest of the ride is silent. We arrive in Idaho to see a tiny little farm seemingly uninhabited. I don't know if he's just trying to stay away from people for a while or taking a break, but I won't question the man. He walks out to the tune of some type of country clothing and some boots. He has aged since the last time I saw him. His once chiseled face is now rugged and worn-down. He looks weak. I believe he's adjusted to country living. I hope he hasn't gotten too settled.

"It's been a long time, dad. Ever since the divorce, we've talked less and less. You haven't even attacked anyone in a while. What have you been up to?" I say to him.

"I know this will be hard for you, but I retired. I'm done being evil. I'm getting too old to try to run around with all these youngsters." He responds.

I'm shocked. I never would have thought my dad would quit the game. Everyone is staring at me and Jack starts to signal the plane, but I stop him. I don't know what I should do, but I cannot let him get away again.

After some moments of thinking I say this to the old man. "You can't quit on me like this. After you and mom went your separate ways, you said we could do things together like Scarlett and mom did. We could have ran the world together. You were supposed to mentor me. What happened to all of that?"

"Nothing happened to that. It's just-"

"Then join us, dad. Do it for us." I interrupt.

"What are you trying to do anyway, son? Kill him? You killed his girlfriend, not the other way around."

"He raped her. She was going to turn him in. He would of went to jail. I thought you were on my side."

"That didn't make it okay to kill her. We kill people who deserve it, not the victims."

"Don't act like you've never killed an innocent person before."

"Not on purpose. If you want to be evil, then that's your choice, but don't become a murderer."

"What do you mean 'If you want to be evil'? I don't know if you've noticed, but you're not a hero. We're on the same level. The dad I knew would never be so soft."

He hobbles over to me and grabs me by the collar. "Don't ever call me soft. I chose you over your mom. I gave up my life for you. You don't have the right to call me soft."

"If you gave all of this up, then why aren't you with me now?"

"Because what you did was wrong."

"You would have done the same for mom." I yell at him.

He sighs. "Your mom would never do anything as heinous as Johnny did. You were scared to lose your best friend, and you did something stupid. You have to come to terms with that. I'll help you, but it's not because I agree with what you're doing. You're my son, and I'm going to protect you. I didn't give up Alice and Scarlett for nothing. Now, let me get my things."

"Very well." I respond.

He limps to his room. It's hard seeing my dad like this. He's fifty, but he looks older than that. I hope Jack was not right.

"Two arguments in one day. You're on a roll." Jack says as we retreat to the jet. After he gets his things, we get in the plane to go get The Thief.
