Roleplaying:
In this roleplay, so long as you follow the rules, your OC can do whatever they want. They can hunt all sorts of prey, and meet all sorts of other cats. They can make new friendships and enemies, and even fall in love. The rules and your creativity are the only limits on your character.
That being said, remember to incorporate a bit of realism. What do I mean by realism, since obviously there's nothing realistic about cats worshipping a religion in the woods? Well, I mean make sure your character is grounded in what they can do. Kittens are very small and weak, especially during the early weeks of life. It doesn't make sense for them to take down two full-grown warriors. Cats usually don't catch their prey when hunting. Incorporating weakness and setbacks for your character makes them much more fun to roleplay with.
Chains:
If you've never roleplayed on Wattpad before, roleplays here work a little differently. To have your cat do something in this roleplay, you need to reply to a chain with a description of what your cat is doing.
What's a chain? Well, I'll tell you. A chain is a series of replies underneath a description of that area of the story. For instance, if you wanted to roleplay in DuneClan camp, you'd check the replies besides the line of text saying "DuneClan Camp" in Chapter 1. If you want to avoid spam, reply separately on the same line of text to start your own chain.
Timeline:
I will post a new chapter every week on Monday. Each chapter takes place over the course of a moon. That means if 8 chapters pass, your character will be 8 moons older. Every 4 chapters will take place like this:
Chapter 1:Crisis
Chapter 2: Halfmoon gathering/Summoning
Chapter 3:Crisis
Chapter 4: The Gathering
You'll probably recognize The Gathering from the books. It's a meeting at the Abandoned SilverClan Camp, now called The Crumbling Pillar between DuneClan, ShellClan, and the Children of the Ember. A Summoning is held at the Cave of Prophecy. It is a meeting for the Acolytes of The Children of the Ember to meet up and receive orders from The Chosen. A Halfmoon Gathering is held at the Moonmirror by the medicine cats and the apprentices of DuneClan, ShellClan, and the Oracle kits, cats temporarily filling the role of Oracle as the spiritual leader of the Children.
A Crisis is a natural disaster or environmental problem that one or all the clans will have to deal with. It could be a wild animal attack, a storm, a plague, a famine, or an eclipse. In order to survive, cats will have to work together.
Other problems, such as border skirmish, a new war, or an attack by rogues could happen at any time.
Prophecy:
There is one important prophecy that drives the story. It has yet to be delivered, but I will place it below when it is.
If you have a medicine cat or medicine cat apprentice character, you can request to add a prophecy of your own from me.
Powers:
Powers will be given out based on the player's requests, and if they follow the right steps.
If I believe your power is unbalanced, I might suggest a drawback or a change make it less unbalanced.
Goals:
Your goals in this roleplay depend on your group. If you're a cat in the Children of the Ember, ShellClan, or DuneClan, you either want to keep the peace between the two groups, start a war or even form a new clan.
Your other main goal in this roleplay is to behave as you think your OC would. If they're greedy, have them try to take more territory or herbs for themself. If they're kind, have them be more likely to share. The most fun stories happen when roleplayers put themselves completely in their characters' shoes.
Summaries:
Chapter summaries will work a little differently in this roleplay. Each new Chapter will begin with a short recap of everything that happened the last moon. It will include which new cats joined which group, which cats changed rank, and which cats died.
I will also do longer summaries from the perspective of one character that I will post in a separate book. This way what you roleplay will sort of becoming part of a bigger story you can read if you're confused. Even people who aren't interested in roleplaying will get to enjoy the story this way.
