"The Kiss Of Death"

"Crystal 'Clear'"

-        Lloyd's    POV        -

I don't want to be like my father. I hated the feelings I felt when I was an oni, it just felt like I was stuck in a room for years, slowly going insane. But of course, Harumi and the Crystal King make it clear that I have to deal with those feelings. My father finished his job on showing me how to become an oni, but it just felt wrong. I wanted to be left alone, I just wanted peace. I can't believe Harumi's back. Now I'll have to deal with the torture she put me through before. I'm lucky my friends aren't dead. "Lloyd. Stop moping around, we're getting close to the battlegrounds." Garmadon said, extending his arm out to me. I grabbed it and got up. "Is everyone else about to jump off the bounty?" I asked. "Yes. I'll bring you to the fortress, but believe me when I say this will be a hard battle for you. Do I make myself clear?" Garmadon said intensely. I wasn't ready, but I didn't want to show that. "Crystal." I said. Garmadon eyed me up and down, and then took control of the ship after I said good luck to the other ninja, including Skylor, Nya, Pixal, and Wu. Everybody had a worried look on their face when I said it. It was as if they thought I was going to fail the mission. Then they all dropped their ropes and slid off quickly. "I'd suggest going into your oni form now. We are approaching the fortress at our right." Garmadon said. "Okay." I said in response. Great. Now it's back to feeling furious, hateful, and of course, even better; insane all over again. I quickly tried to muster up as much anger as I could and unlocked my Oni form for the tenth time in a week.

The anger consumed me, I hated it so much. Make it stop, please! "We're arriving now, jump off before it's too late!" Garmadon yelled out to me. I wanted him to shut up so badly that I jumped off, grabbing my sword from my back. I landed perfectly again, and immediately spotted the Overlord. I grit my teeth with absolute hatred and caught him by surprise by tackling him. "YOU." I yelled in an altered voice. The Overlord jumped up and I did an executed dodge to make sure he didn't pin me to the ground. "This will be your doomsday, chosen one." The Overlord berated. My loathing of him grew even stronger, as did my urge to destroy. My inner voice kept screaming for me to stop, but I couldn't. I fired up my powers and charged at him with hatred painted all over my face. Harumi charged at me, knowing that I would destroy the Crystal King. Yet, the Overlord couldn't sense that yet. "You're much stronger now, Lloyd. I told you to gain your oni form, I knew it would help. But yet, your powers are corrupted. Join us, and help us defeat Ninjago." Harumi said, trying to decieve me. She shouldn't be so naive to think that in my oni form I wouldn't be making dense decisions, correct? I laughed at her maliciously, and threw her out of the way. "I am not weak like my original form." I stated, charging towards the Overlord with compelling powers. "NO, LLOYD!" Harumi cried, breaking character. The Overlord's power over her cancelled out from his shock from me charging at him. I yelled out, and hit the Overlord fluently. "WHO'S SIDE ARE YOU ON, GIRL?" The Overlord bellowed at Harumi. I quickly shot my powers at the Overlord again.

HELP ME. I don't want to fight anymore. I don't like being an oni, please!  My anger was unbearable, but I couldn't control it. The Overlord shot his power back at me, which I blocked. I charged at him, blasting my powers at him. My powers were getting stronger by every minute. Harumi looked at me with shock in her eyes. I wanted to laugh at her foolish attempt to take over ninjago. She had already unknowingly caused civilians all over to die. I will never forgive her for that. My loathing for her and the Crystal King grew stronger; as did the wrath of my only functional emotion currently, anger. My powers felt uneasy in my hands. They were far too powerful. I shot it straight at the Overlord, with my bitterness getting the better of me. No. Oh no. As the power hit the Crystal King, it went out of control and exploded, sending both me and the Crystal King flying. I screamed, which made my Oni form fade out completely. "HELP! I've just been flung off the Crystal King's Lair!" I cried out into the microchip I had. I had to be flying at about 50 miles per hour. There was no stopping me from falling, so I tried to brace myself. "Lloyd, we hear you loud and clear! I'll try and get over there as quick as possible." Nya replied. I looked behind me, and my eyes widened immediately by how fast the ground was approaching. I moved my head in an attempt to quickly get my feet to land first. It was no use! Suddenly, I hit the ground and my head hit something, making a slicing sound. I blacked out immediately.
