" Papa? Do I really have to go with you? " I asked Papa, tomorrow is his visits to Ilocos Norte for his campaign.
Sa lahat ng pinuntahan niya for his campaign he never let me go with him to lessen KUNO the issue. After his filing of candidacy happened last October 2015, news about me are heard over the Philippines, yet knowing my father you will never hear (expected) answers coming from him, he love to tease the media.
Pictures of me with them are being leaked and they start digging information about my identity. So that left me no choice but to stay away for the mean time. Actually, the went to England so that I could spend Christmas with them, with Mama of course.
And now he personally asked me to go with him sa Ilocos Norte, nananadya ba'to? I know why he wants me there, I'm not stupid. He wants me there for a reason and I'm not liking the idea. Talagang pinauwi ako dito for a week just to go with him. After convincing him not to run, which I obviously failed, I decided to support him instead of stopping him. His love for the Filipino people is incomparable.
" Anak? Please, kahit ito na lang pangbawi ko sayo " he insisted and waled towards me.
" But I did not asked for this? I don't need this Pa " talagang ayokong pumunta, pero baka isipin na naman nito na di ko pa siya napapatawad, OA pa naman to.
" Yes, but I just want to do this. You don't need to say anything naman, just show yourself, give a smile and a hand shake. Please? " hayss talaga naman oh.
" Can I still say no? " and he just laugh and starting walking away. That means NO, people.
" Prepare yourself na, the car is outside already " he added, see?

Hi, I'mMaria Imelda Josefa Remedios "Imee" R. Marcos. Governor of Ilocos Norte since 2010. So much of introduction dahil alam ko ng kilala niyo ako HAHA, I am now preparing kasi bibisita ngayon si Mayor Rodrigo Duterte for his campaign. Even though my brother Bongbong is also running for Vice president with his running mate Dr. Mirriam Defensor Santiago as President, I have been very vocal that my vote if for Mayor Rodrigo Roa Duterte. We we're classmate in congress before and I know how much passionate he is as a public servant. He is my President and will always be just like my father.
" Gov? 15 mins darating na po sila " my assistant.
" Okay thanks. Let's go? " as I got my bag and walked towards the car.
I don't know what to feel right now, I'm nervous baka madamay si Rodrigo sa galit ng mga tao samin. Kung sa Ilocos Norte panatag ako, paano sa ibang bahagi ng Pilipinas? Di ako sigurado.
" Okay, kalma Imee everything will be fine! Trust God. " I assured myself, sana nga.
I am standing in front of the City Hall when I saw cars approaching. These must be them, okay breath in, breath out and slowly walking towards their direction to meet them.
" Welcome Mayor Rudy " and offered my hand for a handshake.
" Thank you beautiful Governor " and he smile, hanggang ngayon malandi pa din talaga HAHA. " I'm with my daughter " he added. Really? Sara or Kitty?
As if on cue I guess the person he's referring to stepped out the car. Who is she? Visible in my forehead as it crease Rodrigo Duterte introduce me to a very fine lady in front of me. First Impression: Shy type and very expensive, like Mommy Meldy and Irene. HAHA
" Imee, this is Elliez Ameery Duterte m-my d-daugh-ter " he stutter as he speaks. Gago, mukhang nahihiya pang ipakilala ang anak sakin.
" Ow, so it's true? HAHA Hi Elliez, welcome to Ilocos Norte " and offered a hug. Feeling ko mabait eh kaya hug yung binigay ko. Kay Sara kasi shake hands lang kasi tindig pa lang nakakatakot na. Joke. I felt she was taken a back kay bumitaw na ako, nubayaan feeling close naman ako.
She just smiled as she responsed and felt the awkwardness so I offer to start already.
We are doing the caravan when I saw Elliez na pinapawisan na, siguro laking aircon to HAHA. So offered tissue to her.
"Thanks po" she said, mabait nga marunong mag "po". I feel so comfortable with her, maybe because hindi sya mukhang mataray, yung tipong di nakaka-intimidate kasi napaka anghel ng mukha. Siguro if nabuhay yung baby girl ko, magiging bestfriend sila. Nabalik ako sa realidad when she asks me.
" Do I have something on my face po ba? " Elliez.
" Ay nothing Elliez, sorry hehe " and face the crowd again. Nubayaaan, nakakahiya.
ELLIEZ's POV
( 11 PM )
We are currently in North Malacañang to have lunch with some of the Marcoses when I heard my phone made a sound. A message from Joseph Simon A. Marcos.
" You're in Ilocos Norte? Why didn't you tell me? " aba bakit ako magpapa-alam? Tatay ko ba'to?
Naiinis naman akong nagreply sa kanya.
" Excuse me? Why should I? That's the question " I texted back.
" You should, gusto mo sabihin ko na sa kanila? The family are just one call away " talaga naman oh.
" Fine, I'm here, happy? Huwag kang magulo mag-aral ka ng mabuti dyan " I replied.
" Tita Irene just sent a photo of you guys eating in NM " he informed " uyy you're preparing to be part of the family na ba? Tell me naman so that I will be ready too HAHA " he added. Aba lintek to the max.
" Ewan ko sayo, bahala ka dyan " I replied " and pick me in the airport on Sunday please " I added. Total nainis niya na ako, iinisin ko na din sya.
" Ano ba yan, ayoko " HAHA as if my choice sya. Binalik ko na yung phone ko sa table when it rings. Nakakahiya,
Bakit nakakahiya? Lintek na Simon to pinalitan na naman yung ringtone ko at talagang boses niya pa talaga, amfee talaga. As I was about to answer the phone, Mrs. Irene asked
" Is that Simon's voice? Or I just miss that boy that's why I thought its him " she commented. I smiled awkwardly kasi I'm guilty HAHA.
" but how? Do they know each other? " Gov Imee asks her sister and looked at me.
" Eheee, ay opo. We go in the same school, Oxford " I said shyly.
" Ay talaga? Hinayaan ka ni Rodrigo? Ang unfair mo kay Kitty ha? " and when I heard that name my mood changes quickly and move my body to the right side so they won't notice and answer the call.
" Just pick me up please, bye " and ended the call plus I turned it off. Tatawag na naman yun HAHA. I put it in my bag again and continue eating.
" Pwede naman, bagay kayo " a blushing Irene Marcos-Araneta commented that made me looked at her and to Papa with disbelief. I just keep quiet and gave them an awkward smile "hayss kung alam niyo lang" I said to myself.
A lunch went well except for the conversation about my father's kinakasama Honeylet. You'll know why but not now.
