What's up, I'm back with another chapter. This time, we'll have a few more gods and a few more utterly ridiculous storylines! Once again, no offense intended, and have fun reading! Also, tell me what you want to see more of and there's a good chance that you'll see it around ten chapters in the future 😉. Enjoy!

Apparently riding a giant peacock was not fun. "Hold on to each other, okay?" Kartikeya said. He had been talking to himself, trying to figure out what to say to his parents.

"Are we going straight to Kailash then?" Aru asked.

"Yeah, I think so. Actually, I'll stop by my temple. I need to talk to Valli and Devasena."

"Are those your wives?" Piper asked. Kartikeya nodded. "They'll be waiting there. And hopefully not fighting."

Piper laughed. "I'm a daughter of Aphrodite, so I understand completely."

"Daughter of Aphrodite, huh?" Kartikeya mounted the giant peacock. Aru got on behind him and wrapped her arms around his waist. She felt Piper's hands on her sides, touching the smooth skin of her sides. Aru shuddered at the feeling.

The peacock lifted off the ground. "I didn't know peacocks could fly," Aru said.

"They can, but it's a bit hard for them," Kartikeya said. "My boy over here can do just fine, though."

He petted the neck of the peacock. "They love me over here. I really like this place too, I mean, what's not to love about sun and sand?"

The three of them flew over to a temple in a nearby city. "Palani was the place where I went to when I fought with my parents," Kartikeya said. "Mom pacified me, but it didn't work out for too long."

They flew into the temple and dismounted the peacock. "Stay here, boy," Kartikeya said before they walked in.

The temple was crowded. Really crowded. Aru and Piper did their best not to lose Kartikeya as he pushed through the crowd. "There they are," he pointed. "Come with me, and don't get lost, okay?"

"Easier said than done," Piper muttered. Aru laughed and clasped Piper's hand, her skin tingling from Piper's touch. Piper blushed and followed the god.

Two women stood in front of Kartikeya, talking to him. "Where are you going?" a woman wearing tribal garments asked.

"Valli, I am taking these two to Kailash. We have to fulfill a prophecy. Take care of each other and don't fight, okay?"

Valli looked at the two girls. "They're so cute! Are you two together?"

Aru and Piper blushed furiously. "Er, well —" Piper was cut off by Valli pinching their cheeks. "Good luck, you two. Do well! And come back married!"

Kartikeya pushed them back through the crowd. "You're doomed, she's matchmaking with Devasena now. If you ever see her again, be prepared to get married."

Piper buried her face in her hands, blushing furiously. "Right now, they're trying to figure out how to adjust the rituals to suit two girls," Kartikeya informed Aru. "I did not need to know that," Aru said.

"Yeah, neither did I, but I know it anyway. Why should I suffer alone?"

They got back on the peacock, this time with Piper in the middle. Aru's arms were around Piper's waist, and oh shit, she was wearing a crop top. Aru's hands were touching Piper's soft skin, and she really didn't want to take them off.

Damn, why was she like this? And why was Piper so cute?

"Is it really cold on the mountain?" Piper asked Kartikeya.
