R: "Hey ed could you come to the agency"

P: "I-Is there any reason for you wanting to see me"

R: "I need your books on one of the cases I'm doing"

P: "As much as I would love to help I'm a bit busy... Karl hasn't been feeling well so a doctor is gonna check up on him"

R: "Aww man ok well when you can please bring me a book"

P: "O-of course... I must go buy ranpo"

R: "Alright, bye"

"Why did he lie" the detective asked himself 

"Who lied to you?" Yosano asked him

"Oh yosano hi, I was on a call with Poe and he lied saying he couldn't come over because Karl was feeling sick. But it was a lie" the brunette said

"Hmm? He has never lied, wonder what that's all about" yosano asked

"We should go stalk him" the doctor said completely unhinged 

"What?" Ranpo asked

"Let's see why he lied, come on it'll be fun" the doctor said

"Let's go!" Ranpo said with little hesitation 

-ranpo pov-

"Hmm... Let's go over to his house" I said while yosano dragged me there 

We went over to his house but he was no where to be seen 

"Hmm? Man I can't think on an empty stomach, oo I know! I heard a knew candy shop opened near by, how about treating me to some candy" I said 

"Ugh fine, but only 20 pieces each. I gotta save up for me and chuuyas weekly wine session" yosano said, still funny to think she drinks with a port mafia executive every week 

"Hmmmmm fiiiinnnneeee let's go" I say dragging her to the candy store

-no one's pov-

When they were about to go in they saw Poe with three people, one of them being a girl who was around 19 with caramel colored hair. The other was a guy with ginger hair and his shirt unbuttoned pretty much all the way and lastly Lucy 

"Why is he here?" Yosano asked

"Hmmm not sure... let's go ask" ranpo said dragging her in the candy store

"Hey Poe! What are you doing here" ranpo called out

"Hmm? O-oh ranpo um hi w-what are you doing here" he said nervously 

"Well me and yosano were in the area and she's letting me buy candy" ranpo said excitedly 

"Wow how generous you are" the ginger replied 

"A-as much as chit chatting with the members of the Ada is important may I remind you we are on a tight schedule" Lucy interrupted 

"S-she's right, we should go E-Edgar" the caramel haired girl said

"Where are you headed off too" ranpo asked

"It's confidential information... we must go now" the ginger said

"I-I have to go... bye Ranpo" Poe said grabbing the bags he had and headed out

-yosano pov-

"That's suspicious... they were all rushing Poe and looking out for him, also what was with tan bouquet?" I asked the detective 

"..."

"Ranpo?" I asked

"It's for a girl" he mumbled 

"Who?" I asked

'How dare he break his heart, I'll make him pay' yosano thought 

"Some girl named Margret" Ranpo said

"Margret?" I asked

"Yeah" he said

-no one's pov-

He was unaware that it was a guild member because he stopped once he knew it was for a girl

"I don't understand... yosano-San why do I feel so bad" he asked

"I am not good with explaining things like this. You should ask Dazai since he dated/is dating that executive" the doctor replied to the detective 

"Ok" he said and yosano led him back to the Ada building and they went to go ask Dazai for help, something that was a once in a lifetime thing

Rewrite complete, I will rewrite the other parts because I have motivation so yeah. Enjoy the new re-written chapters, I realized how trash my writing was and how I improved so any chapter I think needs improvement will be rewritten. Anyway happy new years 🥳🧧🎉
