- I wrote I good lot of this chapter when I was locked out my house♥️

" I still remember the feeling I felt when I first stated taking to you"

I'm perfectly on time as I glanced at my watch making my way into the building at 6 am in the morning.

6 AM! Before I went into my beauty slumber I received an email from the receptionist telling me the 'boss' but really they meant the devil wanted me in at 6 am tomorrow for my first day.

I hardly slept a wink as of the stress of getting up at 4 am in the early morning.

But still, here I stood at the main entrance at 5:45 collecting my badge from the reception where no one was. I had to go rummaging through the envelope to find my designated one.

As I tapped in I made my way to the elevator clicking the top floor and glancing down at my photo card. My picture was surprisingly good, which is a first of many.

I fastened the lanyard to my outfit, which consisted of a form-fitting white long-sleeve top with the first two buttons undone, dark green tailored pants, my hair pulled back in a curly slick, and white heels.

I don't know why, but I felt very put together wearing my work clothes.

As the door clicked open I prepared myself to see his face again.

I wasn't mad about the 'thing' Dante did, actually I was mad but we have to keep it classy and act unbothered even though I went through a spiral hole.

A long time ago I was always told to forgive but I just couldn't and seeing his beautiful manly face made it worse and the fact he couldn't utter an explanation or even an apology really shocked me.

I knocked on the door and walked in not waiting for a come-in. If you are expecting me to come to work at 6 am when no one else is here you should deal with my attitude.

I could just quit but my pride was on the line and I loved my pride and I promised at least 7 months so I'll do that one year and make his life my playground.

"Morning, thank you for waiting for me to come in" he uttered typing away on his commuter. I rolled my eyes at his remark "I would say good morning but it's still basically night."

He ignored my comment "I want a coffee with one drop of milk and only oat milk with a dash of honey "

I burst out laughing.

"I'm so sorry the fact that you said an order for girls in college brightened my whole morning. Now it looks like I might have a good day" I smiled. I dont think shops even use honey anymore.

"I'm glad you made you laugh, Bree" he smiled back. My smile immediately turned neutral.

Why am I befriending the betrayer? My posture immediately straightened "Ms Anston Ado to you and I'll get that right away" I spoke professionally walking out.
