♫Me U & Hennessy - lil Wayne, Dej Loaf ♫ (for the second part it will make sense *wink* )IT'S BEEN A week, and somehow she is actually real and sitting right across from me in her office.
For some reason, my brain hasn't fully understood that our future wife is back in town and we have to treat her right instead of giving into her mean flirting battles.
At least I'm winning.
But is that good for starters? I don't want to win when it comes to her; I will lose for her a thousand times over and over again.
Second, she taught me that winning over a woman indicates that I am anti-woman, which is the root of sexism.
As a result, I need to find ways to lose so that we can even the score, even though I really don't want to. I laugh silently to myself that I remember that she said that to me when I won a basketball game at the summer fair.
Once I lose her, I lose her forever. Trust me, for the past six years, I've been dying to see her infectious smile and lighthearted laugh, but she returned too soon. I'm so close to finishing my plan.
It was like Christmas on a random Monday. You're happy to have it back, but you have school tomorrow and the whole week to finish.
I momentarily looked at her while she was working in the office next to me; she turned to look at me, and her face turned into a dismal look. I quickly turned away, suddenly nervous.
This is the first time in my life I've ever felt like a stranger to someone. I gaze at her out of the corner of my eye. I saw her get up and close the window, blocking her view of me. I can feel her glaring at me through the tiny slit in the middle of the side of the window.
Why am I acting like a wimp?
I got back to work. We had a new client who wanted to establish a school in the centre of Michigan so that students could be exposed to various cultures.
Being given this new project for my business made me very happy. We're in the early stages of using the finance department before we can start anything. We were so used to having penthouses that these are the types of things we need to get our creative spark back right now; we're in the early stages of using the finance department before we can start anything.
As I answered lots of emails, I would always stare out the window of her office and wonder what she was doing behind the black curtain, but I didn't have to think about it anymore.
I noticed three employees from her department walking—or rather, what they believed to be sneaking—past my office. I watched them from above my computer, a shiver of intrigue running up my spine.
