"I love you. I'll see you later, okay?" He says kissing my head.
I smile and giggle a little. I watch as he jumps into the car. His loose curls bouncing as he sits down in the driver seat. He shoots me a goofy face then starts the car.
As I sat there with my arms crossed I didn't think much of it. Tyler and I just moved in together, and I've never been happier.
I wave him goodbye, and head inside the house.
Little did I know this would be the last time I'd see Tyler.

Each morning I wake up. I don't see the point of getting out of bed anymore so I don't. It's been four weeks since the car crash. Four months until I got that call from the hospital. Four months since I lost the love of my life.
For the past couple weeks my best friend Lydia has been staying with me.
"Izzy, it's time to get up. It's two in the afternoon." Lydia says, shaking me awake.
She knows I'm awake. She knows that I haven't gotten out of bed by choice since that call. The funeral was the hardest. It had to be a closed casket, because of how bad the crash was. His mom and I were a wreck. I was crying so hard I couldn't bring myself to speak. I regret that. I would've said so many things about how he was the sweetest person I knew or how he'd give me a silly face before he'd leave for work everyday.
"I don't feel like it." I say covering my head with the covers.
"You need to start moving on. You don't have to find someone new, but at least get a job." She says sitting on the corner of my bed.
After Tyler died I quit my job, and I stayed at home all day and cried. Lydia moved in to help with rent. I promised her I'd get another job, but things were just hard at the moment. She was understanding of the situation.
"I got you an interview with this publishing company. You'd work as a secretary. Please just go to the interview." She pleads.
"Fine."
"Great, it's tomorrow at three." She says excitedly.
