We walked outside, and he started talking.

"There was a more serious reason I didn't come to the funeral." He says looking down.

"Why?"

"I was in love with you, and still am. I told Tyler, and he was mad. We weren't talking and I figured he wouldn't want me there." He says breaking down.

"Of course he'd want you there. You guys may have had your issues, but you were still best friends." I say lifting his face.

He looked into my eyes like he was staring into my soul. This made me slightly uncomfortable considering what he just said, but I brushed it off.

"I also promised him I'd take care of you if anything happened to you." He says grabbing my wrist.

"Okay." I say looking down at his grasp.

"Let's go." He starts dragging me towards the parking lot.

"No. I'm here with Lydia. She needs me here."

"No. You're coming with me." His eyes went black.

When we get to his car he throws me in the back, and locks the doors. He had no emotions or care for what he was doing.

"Asher, please don't do this." I plead.

"I'm protecting you." He says starting the car.

"Don't try to scream. No one will hear you. If you do, I'll punish you when we get home." He says looking in the mirror.

This was not the Asher I knew. The Asher I knew cared for others, and wanted what was best for everyone. Not to hurt others, and kidnap them.

When he stops the car I see the apartment complex. It was dimly lit, and no one was around.

"You will walk in, and act like nothing's wrong. Okay?" Asher says.

He flashes a pocket knife, and I nod my head in agreement.

As we walk in, a lady stops us.

"Who is this Asher?" She asks with a smirk.

She was an older lady. Her silver hair framing her face. Her keys in hand. Asher towered over her, because of her short stature.

"This is my girlfriend, Izzy." He says with a smile.

He holds the knife to my back, and I plaster a smile.

"Well you seem very sweet. Hopefully I'll see you around more often." She says with a wink then enters her apartment.
