It's been a couple of weeks. I've been going to visit Helen, because of how hard I've taken all of this. Not only for Asher, but for Tyler too. She's very understanding.

"It's okay to grieve, but you can't let it get in the way of your productivity." Helen says.

"Yeah I know, and I'm trying to not let it." I say taking a sip of my coffee.

"I think it was a good decision taking that secretary position. Have they asked about your book at all?" Helen asks.

"Yeah, they took a look at the draft a couple days ago. I haven't heard anything yet though. I'll let you know when they do." I say smiling.

Helen has become a very close friend. She understands me, and doesn't judge. I appreciate that.

When I get home I see Lydia sitting on the couch watching a movie.

"How was your talk with Helen?" She asks as I sit down next to her.

"It was good, and much needed."

"Well it's good you have someone to talk to. Oh and by the way Max is coming over later." She says all teenage girl-ish.

Max is the boy Lydia met the night we went to the club. She was hanging out with him when I went outside with Asher. They've been moving pretty fast. He stays the night a lot, and I've invested in a pair of ear plugs.

"Okay, cool."

Max is cool. He knows about what happened to me, and is very sensitive to it. He makes sure to check in with me. I think he's the best guy Lydia has dated in her entire dating history. 

"Want to join us in watching a movie. We can do our own thing later." She says with a smirk.

"Sure, and I'll be using my ear plugs later." I say making a disgusted face.

She laughs, and winks at me.

When Max arrives he immediately kisses Lydia. They go at it for a minute until I clear my throat.

"Oh yeah, the movie." Lydia says glaring at me.

We all sit down and decide to watch Frozen. Lydia and I sing all the songs, and Max recites all of Prince Hans' lines. We watch this every Friday. Max comes over, we all watch a movie, and then him and Lydia do their thing, and I do mine. When we're done with the movie they go into Lydia's room, and I go to mine. I put in my earbuds and start my music. As I sit there I write down all the positives of my day. I slowly start to drift off to sleep. As I start to dream I see Tyler.

"Goodnight my love." He says blowing me a kiss.
