35. What do we do now?

Jessy watches in surprise as Jake storms out of the hut in frustration and immediately tries to follow him. However, before she can take two steps, she hears Gabe's voice:

Gabe: No, Jessy, he needs to be alone for a minute.

Jessy: What? He just told Alan that he'll see him tomorrow afternoon, and we can't waste that much time. We should go find MC right now!

Gabe: To rescue MC we must first know where she is. We'll get Alan to tell us, but to do that we have to prepare a few things.

Dan: What things?

Gabe: I'm sorry, I can't...or rather, it's not for me to tell you.

Phil: Are you kidding me? I'm sick of this, hacker, we're all sick of this. You and the other one ask us to trust you, but you keep us in the dark and use us however you want, giving us information in dribs and drabs. Enough of that fucking shit!

Gabe: We just need a few hours, and th...

Jessy: No way! Didn't you see what I saw? The one in the video was Alan, you know it was him! He may be doing the same thing to her... the same thing we saw...

Gabe: Alan won't hurt MC, he needs her safe and sound.

Jessy: That's what you guys say, but what if you're wrong? How can you be so sure that he will do what you think?

Gabe: We've talked about this dozens of times, Jessy. Alan needs us and he knows he won't get anything if he doesn't keep his end of the deal.

Jessy: You can't be sure about that, damn it!

Dan: Jessy's right, pretty boy. You and hackerman have spent hours, days, investigating our dear Chief of Police, and what use has that been to us? Yeah, you found out he's a fucking psychopath, now what? How the hell does that help us find MC?

Phil: We weren't even able to rescue Hannah! Alan gave her up willingly, to throw us a bone and keep us quiet. Haven't you already realized that your plans are useless?

Gabe: And what do you propose? Do you know where MC is? Because if so, I'd fucking love to know.

Dan: No, but we can go find that asshole and beat the crap out of him if we have to.

Gabe: You have a wound in your shoulder, Dan, I have a useless leg, and Jake a hole in his arm. How exactly do you intend to deal with a man who, in addition to combat training, has various weapons at his disposal?

Phil: As far as I know you're not the only ones here. And we also have a gun.

Richy: That's true, we can all go, at least all of us who don't have injuries...

Gabe snorts in frustration and runs a hand over his face to calm himself before saying:

Gabe: Listen, what we just saw is monstrous, and I can't say I've not affected myself, but you guys need to calm down. We only need a few hours, we have to act with a cool mind so as not to make mistakes.

Jessy: I can't believe what I'm hearing. Our friend is in danger, and you're talking about having a cool mind? MC was kidnapped over 24 hours ago by a murderer, a bloody murderer, Gabe! How the hell can you ask us to calm down?
