"Annie....."
She turns around and gives a weak smile before turning back around and siting atop the building. I make my way towards her careful to keep my footing, I sit next to her as I see that she is curled up, hugging her knees to her chest with her hood covering her face. I try to place my hand on her shoulder to which she shrugs off, I look at her as I begin to speak.
"You knew this was going to be my decision the whole time right" I solemnly tell her. She unwraps herself as she angrily turns to me and says
"Do you know some people don't even know if their loved ones are dead for months on end, months families don't even know if their children or husband's or wife's are ever coming back, sometimes longer" she finishes
"What does that......" she cuts me off
"I could be waiting who knows long waiting for you to come back just to be shown a mangled piece of flesh later, I'll never know when or if or how you even died, you could've come with me to the military police where it's safe, where your protected safely in the walls but you chose to leave me all alone, you decided you'd rather die for a meaningless cause that will never even see the light of day" she stresses becoming exhausted.
"Maybe my death won't do much, maybe I'll die within a week, hell if I know but I'll be damned if I just sat back and watched the world around me burn without at least giving my life to protect it" she looks at me with tears swelling in her eyes. This confuses me as I've never seen Annie this emotional before.
"There aren't many people I care about, why did you have to be one of them" she says looking back at her feet.
"I'm not going to die, not until I take down the armoured, I won't allow myself to die" I say smiling a weak smile. She sighs and then gets up unexpectedly, she then walks off the building and onto the floor which I follow her to, she then turns back to me before simply saying
"Then this is goodbye" before walking away, I look down knowing this may very well be the last time I see her.
Annie kicks me off of her sending me flying back into a trashcan, before I can recover she runs up and sends a kick to my head casuing it to hit the wall, she them slams my body onto the floor before getting atop me and placing her blade against my neck. Completely ignoring the blade I angrily confront her
"Bold of you to show your traitorous face to Me" I say heavily out of breathe but still visibly angry.
"Can't say I was expecting a warm welcome nor do I need one but your the only one I can talk to about this"
I use this opportunity to throw her off of me as she lands on the floor I get up and send a kick to her ribs. As she reels in pain I yank her by the hair and force her to look me in the eye.
"I wonder if you can transform faster than I can kill you" I say firmly planting her in a headlock preparing to snap her neck.
"If your going to just kill me at least listen to me first either way I'm dead" she says desperately, after a moment of thinking I throw her to the floor.
