"So you want my help to negotiate, you do realize that anyone else with the exception of Reiner would've been a better choice right?" She says questioning my logic. "I would've asked Pieck but she's basically crippled, Porco is a dick, and Zeke gives me the creeps, plus you and me haven't talked in awhile" I cheerfully say smiling. "Yeah that's for a reason dumbass" she replies scornfully. We continue walking until I raise a hand to which a sleek black limousine pulls up on the street. Annie looks confused before I open the backseat door. "After you m'lady" I playfully state. She rolls her eyes before getting into the vehicle.
(30 minutes later)
"I know you like to get on my nerves but this easily takes the cake" Annie says stepping out of the vehicle holding a bag containing a dress. I awkwardly smile before commenting "Come on it's not that bad, also I'm sure it'll look nice on you" this causes her to scoff at me as we make our way to a buildings entrance. I finish buttoning my shirt and fixing my tie so that I look nice. "How's about you just head to the ladies room and freshen up, you look like shit" I say dropping my smile. "Fuck off" she replies as we enter the building. She leaves to go change as a custodian calls out to her. "Ma'am you can't just....." "It's alright, she's with me" the man sees me and immediately fixes his posture. I wave him down as to try and calm him down. The man directs me towards a table, while walking I begin to notice the eyes fixated on me, my mind begins to think. They fear me, fear can lead to ignorance, that ignorance will eventually lead to hate and bad decisions. I need to be careful with what I say and do for the time being. These people are just itching for a chance to report me to the government. I smile at the man, taking a seat as we arrive at my table. I begin surveying the room hoping to see anything useful, "these guys are probably well aware im here, so I best not keep my rebellious friends waiting" I think to myself with a slight frown. "Whats the matter with you" I hear someone say as I look to see Annie in a very nice pearly white dress

Seeing her now made me realize that I never really stopped to see how attractive she actually was since I saw her again. I only thought of a warrior, not a girl with daddy issues and not much socialization skills. Perhaps I could use that to my advantage later, however now is not the time for such thoughts. "Well look at you" I say grinning at her sheepishly. "Shut up" she says scoffing at my comment. "No seriously you look nice" "No seriously shut up" she says glaring at me. I sigh and motion for her to sit, she does as I begin to speak once more. "Alright so all my leads seem to be pointing here, the resistance must be hiding somewhere here, I want to go in that security room but there's a guard kinda in my way. "So you want me to distract him while you sneak by, whats with the dress then?" Annie questions "Well I was hoping you could go for a little less *you* and a little more...... flattering" I say trying to sugar coat my request. "Y/K, I'm not Objectifying myself for your stupid mission" she says crossing her arms "It's not Objectifying, I just need you to be friendly for a bit so that I can find the resistance, you don't have to be flirty, just...... friendly" I say failing to give a reasuring smile. "15,000" she states without looking me in there eye. "What? "That's how much I want to help you" "15,000 to talk to a security guard?" "15,000 for making me an accomplice in your breaking of the law and for putting both my own and my father's safety on the line" I stare at her in disbelief for a moment, eventually I just sigh and agree. "Fine, but could you be maybe slightly less of an ass" I say slightly defeated. "Once you stop being a manipulative prick we'll talk" she replies spitefully. An attractive woman walks up to our table, I notice her uniform, as I remember we're in a restaurant and this has to be a waitress. "But first let's at least enjoy dinner" I say to Annie smiling.
A/N: wow, it's been a while huh........yeah it's been kinda rough for me but still I apologize for the lengthy wait, since my "brief" hiatus we have passed 4K views and holy shit that's awesome, thank you guys so freaking much. Despite what it looks like I really do enjoy writing and it's absolutely incredible to see that so many people have seen these chapters, thank you guys for reading and I'll try to start posting semi regularly, I won't commit to a schedule yet but I will definitely finish this story by mid June to July. I plan on working on 2 new stories in the future one being a DC universe insert and the other being a being a completely original story that I've been working on for the last 3 years so I hope you enjoy those when they come out. Also I will be remaking my Marvel series as I definitely want to tell that story. See you all soon as I already have the next chapter mostly done.
