Chapter 11

Ji Eun POV-

two weeks until we'll be away from here... I was currently sitting at a cafe where I and Yuri were supposed to meet after lunch. 

almost everything for our departure was ready, all the formalities done and my part-time jobs cleared out, I was thinking of going to the library tomorrow to meet Mrs. Han one last time and bid her goodbye since she was a constant support to me, a parent figure to me while I was here. Also, I would have to look for part-time jobs in Cambridge at least till I went on maternity leave but I would worry about that when we reach there...

As I was thinking of everything I had to get done and had to do within the next few weeks Yuri entered the cafe and made her way to me with a big smile on her face... both of us haven't been able to hangout much since we were busy with the whole Cambridge plan but at the same time, we were really happy too... It was another weekend and we decided to chill and hang out.

we ordered our snacks and chatted catching up on everything and making imaginary plans (kind of a bucket list) to do in Cambridge even though we haven't even started packing...

Half an Hour later-

Yuri- "hey bae, have your parents contacted you?"

Ji Eun- *sigh* "nope, I haven't heard from them since they left that day..."

Yuri- "maybe you should go see them before leaving. tell them about Cambridge and all. They should know about it right, maybe you guys will make up, and if not, nothing changes. "

Ji Eun- "yeah I'll go see them on Monday Ig ... "

We continued talking for a while before she had to leave for home since she was supposed to go to dinner with her fam.

I didn't feel like going home straight away so I just roamed around a bit and get some street food. Everyone loves street food!!

by night I was back at home, I watched Netflix and then headed to bed thinking about the next day and the meeting with my parents.

The next day I visited Mrs. Han and told her that I wouldn't be coming here anymore.

Mrs. Han- "Oh dear- I'm going to miss you a lot..."

Ji Eun- "me too Mrs. Han. I'm gonna miss you and this library a lot."

Mrs. Han- "but it's a good opportunity, enjoy there kiddo" 

Ji Eun- "surely Mrs. Han, I was planning on working and spending some time here today... "

Mrs. Han- "of course, stay as long as you want, and hey let's have lunch together today one last time... It's been so long already"

Ji Eun- "that is a wonderful idea, Mrs. Han- we should go to our fav place, It has actually been so long since we last ate there," I said enthusiastically with a wide smile on my face.🤗

I went to the shelves and started to fix them. once I was done I decided to read one of my fav romance books. true love is magical!  

soon it was lunch time and we had our lunch chatting about everything, I told her everything that was going on and clearly, she was shocked but she supported my decisions fully, she told me about her family and how they were doing and we continued to giggle and chat.

after lunch, I met up with yuri and went shopping. we bought a lot of clothes and accessories to take to Cambridge and many other things. we bought A LOT of things. this is why we always end up broke after every time we go shopping 😗

the rest of the day I spent my time chilling out with Yuri at my house. We watched movies and fooled around- dancing and singing along to our playlists. later we cuddles and talked more about Cambridge as we fell asleep.
