Y/N POV:

The next morning, I'm woken by the smell of bacon and eggs, yawning, stretching and sniffing the air, I slip on my dressing gown and walk downstairs.

As I walk into the kitchen, I see officer Fenik standing by the stove cooking breakfast.
"Well hello" I say in surprise.
He pauses, looks over at me with a smile "Mornin'" then turns back to the pan.

I wonder over to the island counter and sit on one of the stools "you're up early" I say while rubbing sleep from my eye.
"Well, I did drop in on you last night, I thought you deserved a good breakfast." He smiles as he turns towards me, serves the bacon and eggs on top of bread and hands me a plate.

I smile, taking the plate, grabbing some cutlery and starting to eat.
"Oh!" I say with a partly full mouth "this is good." I smile at him "who taught you to cook?"
He chuckles as he starts on his own plate "my mum, she always let me "help" when she was cooking." He smiles and takes a bite.

I smile and continue eating. After a few minutes of chatting and eating, we both finish our breakfast, and put our dishes away.
I stretch my arms above my head, looking at the time "oh, the markets are opening soon, do you wanna go?" I smile over at him.
He looks over and smiles back at me "sure, I'd love to" he grins.
"I'll go get showered and dressed, you're welcome to go home and come back if you want to"
He chuckles "I could probably use a shower and clean clothes after last night, I'll pick you up in an hour?"
I smile and blush lightly at him "sounds good."

As Fenik leaves, I go upstairs and shower, get dressed, and do some simple makeup.
I head downstairs to the kitchen, making a quick list of things I need to grab, until I hear a knock on the door "oh, he's back already?" I ask myself, making my way to the front door.

As I open it, I am about to speak before I'm interrupted by a strange man "ma'am, have you had recent contact with an officer Fenik?" He asks, in a cold, stern voice.
I hesitate before replying "yes? Why?" I ask as I take a step back.

Suddenly, he grabs me, knocks me out, and the last thing I hear is "I got her."
