Chan looked over the forest city from the roof of their place. There was nothing but worry in his eyes and Changbin took notice of this.

"Do you think he's okay, wherever he is?" Chan asked.

"I can't say for sure, but I really hope so. He doesn't usually dissappear like this."

"Right? I wasn't sure if I should be alarmed of where he disappeared to. He is an adult afterall. He can make the decision to go where he likes. But for four days? Without telling anyone? It's so unlike him."

"It really is. I last saw him when he was going into the city. I really can't tell if his departure was intentional though."

"Same. But whatever it is, I sense something's not right. I refuse to assume the worst but what other choice do I have?"

"Let's give it until the end of the week."

"I'm afraid that is too far, if he's in danger, I fear that will be too long."

"Actually, you're right." Changbin agreed. "Three days was enough to assume something is off."

He remembered the last time he saw him. When he ran out to town to talk to Felix. Into the city, away from the confinement of the forest.

Felix returned but Jisung didn't.

Only the love of his life returned, smiling at him so brightly, with eyes that once held tears. At that moment he was so filled with happiness he hadn't questioned Jisung's whereabouts. Jisung wasn't one to leave his comfort zone, he couldn't even leave his room unless it was absolutely necessary.

Now it had him wondering for the second time in a week of his lovers intentions. Felix couldn't have anything to do with his disappearance, could he? Him choosing to be in Changbin's company was not a diversion, right?

If his doubts towards Felix were correct, it wouldn't make sense. If Felix was out to get them, why would he be out for Jisung alone?

Changbin shook his head. Felix wouldn't, he wasn't capable of such betrayal. Besides, he promised.

Surely he had nothing to do about his disappearance. Changbin was conflicted and hoped his fears weren't right. And his forbidden romance did not put his brother's life in danger.

Felix adorned a warm coat and grabbed his bed lamp. It was past midnight and he knew that less guards would be surrounding the area. He walked out of the room and quietly walked down the stairs.

He went out through the backdoor- the shortest way to the dungeons. The air was chilly and he knew he'd have a red nose and an even redder pair of ears. He walked past the few guards walking around the palace for night patrol.

Once he arrived at the gates, he looked around before he pushed the door. But unfortunately, it didn't budge. He cursed before pushing once more, harder this time. Surely he had some strength for it. After multiple attempts at pushing, he realized it was locked.

Of course it was. It was a dungeon. The only way to get in was through a key, he had a few ideas where it was and it was not a pleasant location.

"You..." a hand touched his shoulder. Felix jolted up like a cat and let out a tiny scream.

"Hey... Felix... what are you doing here?" A guard question.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I came to see someone."
