Jisung was wrapped around the prince's mantle as he read through one of his numerous etiquette books. A pie was waiting ready at his side and the scent of the prince on the glorified cape was a strangely comforting one.

He flipped through a golden page, scanning the book when the door opened without a warning.

A familiar blonde figure watched him through the door. Felix looked stunned at his mere sight. Before Jisung could be surprised at Felix's sudden intrusion after dissapearing for a few days he took notice of what Felix was fixated on. Jisung's eyes widened in realisation before pulling the mantle off and throwing it to the floor.

Felix stood confused before breaking into an amused smile. "What was—"

"Don't ask." Jisung said deflecting, forcing his gaze to look at his book.

Felix came close and walked near the bed and picked up the mantle. "The prince's—"

"I told you not to ask. It's not what it looks like."

"Wrapping yourself around the prince's mantle despite the many blankets you have? Oh my, it couldn't... you fancy the prince, don't you?"

"No! No... he was the one participating in all that nonsense. Especially when he's being annoyingly flirtatious..."

"He was being flirtatious with you?!" Felix nearly crash landed on Jisung.

____________

"You shouldn't flirt with a dragon, you know?" Hyunjin said as he observed the gleem of his sword in the sunlight.

"I wasn't flirting." Felix rolled his eyes as he looked ahead.

"Maybe not. But you were definitely enamored by him." Hyunjin referred to Changbin and Felix's exchange during their visit to the forest.

"And what if I was? The prince's regime is headed in a new direction so why should I discriminate on who I find attractive?"

Hyunjin laughed. "You're adorable. Always searching in corners for the good in people. You should stay that way. We need more people like you in the world."

"Why do you say it like it's a bad characteristic, besides, it was only a slight admiration."

"He was fooling you. Wanted to score a human. I know guys like him well. He's a bedswerver and you were one of his conquests. What better for a dragon to catch than a human, huh? Forbidden fruit is the sweetest after all."

"Do you really think so?" Felix gasped.

"I know so."

"Shut up." The younger shook his head clear. "He's not a bedswerver. If anything, he gives the impression of someone loyal and passionate." Felix defended, cross armed, hating that he was possibly questioning his relationship to easily.

Hyunjin laughed. It made Felix feel embarrassed.

"You're an adorable little thing."

"I'm not little."

"Goodness, you're lighting up like a lamp. I'm right, you fancy him."

"It's strictly business. This deal has open space to a lot. I just think he has his charming points. Sometimes."

"Doesn't he? Gods, I'm excited. This is exciting. We're more alike with each passing day. First we share a love for custard and the next we share a forbidden romance. This is fate at its—" Jisung shoved him before he could rant on. "Ouch."
