Felix skipped over the dusty trail with a spring in every step. The weather was unforgiving, with the sun scalding hot, leaving everyone on sight as limp and soggy as a sausage at the bottom of a food chest.

Much to the blonde boy's delight, late afternoon was quickly approaching and his path was booming with trees from every corner which provided him with ample shade. Not to mention the aid that came with his hooded cloak.

One that shielded him from getting recognized by anyone, although chances of that happening were slim.

He walked along, his thoughts carrying him away deeming him completely oblivious to his surroundings. He was rendered as nothing but an aimless being walking towards a nameless destination with thoughts of his lover. And how happy he'd be with the gift he'd brought in his hay basket.

With his mind stuck in a lovestruck trance, he went on forward. Stomping through the wild green forest with his fancy shoes.

He hoped anyone who saw him pass by would not suspect he was from the royal palace. But doubted that as he went further into the forest, where there was no sign of human life.

But, at that moment, there was a rustling in the trees that sounded. A noise that so subtle that if he wasn't focused, he'd have missed it. And it was just the distraction that would prove to divert his mind off his lover.

He turned around, slowly. Watching, gawking, waiting. He skimmed then scanned through the forest, listening then hearing for a sound. Expecting movement. Anticipating for change.

He stood still and quiet. He sighed, almost dissatisfied by the lack of a climax. There was nothing but silence in the abyss of vegetation. He turned his head to proceed forward.

"Roar!!" Without warning a thunderous roar erupted from a figure within the shadowed forest. Muscular and taut... Felix was sent a shock and fell on his behind.

"Changbin!" He pouted and the figure in front of him laughed.

"Are you okay?" He giggled as he offered a hand. Felix slapped his hand away. His face red that he was frightened so easily by a cheap trick.

"No, why did you do that?" He stood from the ground and wiped his shorts clean. "I nearly dropped my basket."

"I'm sorry." A smile still lingered in his puffed cheeks. "I really am. Forgive me?"

He exhaled. "Yeah I forgive you. I can't be mad at you for me being gullible. Besides how can I stay mad at you? I missed you."

"I missed you as well. I haven't seen you for a week but I swear it felt longer."

"Right? How did your trip go?" Felix asked, referring to the trip Changbin eluded on going on. One that kept them apart for an entire week.

"Surprisingly well. Wonderful even. I think it went better than I hoped so I'm extremely grateful for that."

"Well I'm happy for you. That's perfect, I think today's gift is perfect for the occasion. We could use this opportunity to celebrate the success of your trip as well."

"You brought a gift? Wait, what's in the basket? Meat. It's beef isn't it?"

Felix smiled and walked past him. A mischievous smile graced his lips.

"I'm right aren't I?"

"Shh... you'll know soon enough. Let's focus on getting to our spot first."

"Argh. Let's hurry up then." Changbin grabbed hold his hand as they sped walk through the forest. Changbin dragging him forward with excitement.
