CHELSEA'S POV!
"So... I have a question for you." Chelsea heard Kat say through the wall. Chelsea was laying down on the ground staring up at the ceiling. "Yeah? What is it?" She asked.
"Do you like Joe?" Kat said out of the blue. "Well, yeah, he's my friend. I like all my friends." Chelsea responded. "No, I mean ... Like 𝙇𝙄𝙆𝙀 him. I mean come on, I've seen you two. It's kinda obvious." Kat said. And at that moment Chelsea became a stuttering mess. "Well- Wh- Where did this come fr- Why would I- How is it o- Wha-" Chelsea took a deep breath in.
A long time ago, Joe, Kat, and Chelsea were a trio of friends. They were kids back then, and ever since then Chelsea just had the smallest crush on Joe. And that crush has since grown. She just didn't know if Joe felt the same way! What if he hated her for it? What if he never wanted to be friends ever again!?
But... Even if she DID like him, she couldn't tell him it now. He was, quite literally, another universe away.
"I... guess I do have a... small- crush on Joe." Chelsea admitted. "I KNEW it!" Kat said, beaming. "Hehe- I ship it."
"Kat. I have told you not to use the 'ship' word. That's for the fourth wall breaks only." Chelsea said. "Aww. Okay." Kat responded.
They sat in silence for at least ten minutes, then Kat spoke, a little bit shaky in her voice. "Do...Do you miss Joe? I really miss him... I just hope he's alright."
"Of course I miss him! We were freaking kidnapped by wacky scientists who wanna experiment on us! Kind of ironic if you think about it, but at least our subjects weren't KIDNAPPED. I worry about Joe and the entirety of Laminax Labs all the time, even when we were there." Chelsea said, trying to be comforting to her sister.
"I got to ask Warren a few questions... Chelsea, we really, 𝙍𝙀𝘼𝙇𝙇𝙔 need to get out of here. If we don't, well... We may be trapped here for 26 years. At least, that's what Warren said." Kat said. Chelsea was a little bit surprised but took a deep breath. "Kat, stop worrying. Even if that's what that stupid idiot said, he's either lying, or, if that's the case; we're gonna get out of her really soon, okay? I promise." Chelsea said.
"...Promise...?"
"Promise."
