Writing these dialogues is killing my brain. And scenes. It rlly goes like 'Anne hugged Anna and Anna was happy' or smth

Look at me; watching First Kill once and thinking I know shit

This is a bit late, sorry.
I'll try to manage 5pm again tomorrow
Only read through a few times, possible mistakes
Shit's going on rn

Anna walked up to her friend Anne, "my dad says that man was murdered. Definitely."

Anne was worried, obviously, "what do you think happened to him?"

"I would say a vampire. There was barely any blood left and you could supposedly see how frozen in place his face was. Must've been scared shitless."

Anne nervously huffed, "haha.. very funny."

She got a stern look thrown her way, "it's not funny at all. Remember, my dad runs this investigation and after to what he said, I think was a legacy vampire. No scar. It's only a matter of time before there will be another case. This is bad."

"Whaaat?" Anne smiled, an uncomfortable feeling flowing through her, "tell me, Anna, what is a 'legacy vampire'?"

"Legacy vampires are born not made, so basically they're 'pure-bloods'. While made vampires can, Legacies can't be killed with wooden stakes to the heart, they fully cannot. They heal quickly too. But they are weak to pure silver," Anna sighed, "they can walk by day, so we're fucked."

Anne felt her stomach twist, "I'm not sure how to feel about this.. I'm kinda scared."

Anna had a pitiful look on her face, "you'll be fine, don't worry," she smiled when she put a hand on Anne's shoulder.

Anne looked up at her and had this idiotic grin back on her face, "what are you going to do? Give me silver armour?"

Behind the smile, there was a genuine worry that Anna might actually bring silver close to her. And to her upmost terror Anna chuckled and responded, "not necessarily a chestplate, but I do believe I have some spare necklaces and rings."

"Uhh, no thanks. I don't... want to feed into my fear," Anne stuttered out.

"That's smart, but if you are scared of dying at some point, come talk to me,"Anna smiled comfortably.

Anne felt a shiver run down her spine, "thanks."

"You're turning soft, aren't you?" Anna teased.

Anna was right and Anne knew it, but was she ever going to admit that? No, of course not.

"Pff," Anne laughed, "as if!"

Her best friend chuckled along, "but on a more serious note, if anything else happens. Another dead person, I will force you to be protected."

Anne shakily nodded, "yeah, okay, if that's what you really want," she mentally slapped herself, how fucking dare she agree.

Silver would burn her! Not protect, goddammit!

--------------

Anne messed up big time.

She didn't have time to dump the body in a proper river because she was in a rush.

And now it had been found.

Which meant that Anna knew of it.

And because Anna keeps her promises she insisted they'd meet outside.
