(Hi)

JUNE 28TH
SIXTEEN WEEKS

It was after midnight, Josie should be sleeping. But instead she's up going through her medical books and studying. A weird sound from her window gave her almost an heart attack.

She looked up immediately, her gaze locked on the window glass which was currently rising from the usual closed state of it. The urge to run to the hall and scream for the boys was tempting but she was scared.

So instead she picked up the hammer on the floor, leftover by her latest attempt to build baby equipment and realizing she's not the person for that kind of thing.

And at last, the window swinged open, and Josie was ready to attack if Hope wouldn’t have been fast with good instincts, she held her by the hammer. "Woah! I come in peace!"

"Hope? what the hell?!? You scared the shit outta me!" The brunette finally put down the hammer, and went back to her spot on her bed. Her gaze still on Hope's with a death glare in place.

"You do know that we have a door...?" Josie started working on the book again and her notes while questioning Hope’s sudden scary appearance. "I don't know, I've always wanted to that. Number one rule in romance stories."

"Well technically, it's number one illegal?!?" 'Yes Hope... you fucked up.' Was basically Hope's racing mind right now, the neuro's hand was playing with her aubrenette baby hairs nervously.

"How's them little ones doing?" Hope's specialty activated, changing the topic of the conversation. She still felt bad inside though, she knows she said some hurtful things and she's scared to ruin it even more.

"They... need a name, especially with the fact that they're most definitely not little. But weren't you the one who said shit about them just a few hours ago?"

"I'm sorry, okay? You have no idea how hard it would usually take me to admit I made a mistake. But I'm trying my best! I always will... for you three! We all make mistakes and it's human. I said stupid things I know, but this isn't exactly a situation that any of us have been in before... or a situation that we know how to deal with. So I'm sorry, It takes time but I'll get it in the end I promise."

Hope ranted, not paying attention to Josie, she just wanted to make her point, she just wanted Josie to know that... she's incredibly sorry.

"Hope-"

"No. Jo, I need you to understand what I'm saying, I'm dumb! I let you go too many times, I hurt you, but I'm not gonna let go of it from now on, I'm here to stay and whether you like it or not you're stuck with me."

Do you know that time when you feel too much to shut up? Or feel too much to say anything... When Hope finally looked at Josie, she felt both these situations at the same time... weirdly.

Apart of her world locked in again, Josie. If only her feelings didn't scare her...

"Anyways... I brought fries as a peace offering." Hope raised her hand to reveal the bag from McDonald's And that did the trick-

"Food!! I was going to forgive you after what you just said, but thanks anyways." The brunette jumped from her position and crawled on the bed to reach the bag and steal it from Hope.

"You have no idea how much I needed this... fries!! Best food ever." She smiled as she started digging into the bag of fries and dippings.

Hope smiled and chuckled, watching the brunette express her enjoyment of food. And the joy that filled her knowing they were okay again.

"So... a name you said?" Hope climbed into the bed with the intern, while Josie motioned for her to wait cause she was in the middle of a bite.

"Yes. I was thinking something symbolic to us while also being a beautiful name and one you can give nicknames to... you've talked about your grandfather before, what's his name?"
