Chapter 15

I don't know how we end up naked under someone's cabin. The smell of candles, and the petals of wildflowers scattered all over the floor, makes us feel special. I also don't know how Moon found this place in the middle of the forest.

It was so great, so much, that I couldn't put it into words. Moon's thing is not a joke. I can still feel the pain in my back and the soreness between my thighs. However, this feeling is perfectly forbidden.

Ilang oras nang nakatitig kami sa isa't-isa habang magkaharap. Ang tanging naririnig ko lamang ay ang pagbahagi namin ng hininga sa isa't-isa at mga puso naming nagkakasiya.

"Hey, what's wrong?" He brings his hands to dry my tears. Agad siyang bumangon na bakas ang pag-aalala.

"Nothing...it just...I never felt so happy before." I feel embarrassed after saying those words. Mabilis kong tinakpan ang namumula kong mukha kahit alam kong hindi niya iyon makikita.

He chuckles, and I found it illegally sexy. Pinaradahan ng kaniyang kamay ang bahagi kung saan niya 'ko minarkahan.

"I'm glad that you waited for me, Imos. This day feels like a dream. Touching you like this feels like I committed a crime." He continues to fondle my skin. "You never know how much I wanted to touch you like this when I first saw you at the hospital." He drops a kiss on my forehead. "I was afraid of nothing, but when I saw you, I started to feel anxious. I'm afraid that I might never see you again. For the first time in my life, I feel desperate to see you, and watching you from afar is not enough."

My heart is racing like crazy to his confession. His words brought a big smile to my face. He touches my lips and continues, "You never know how desperate I am to see your smile just like today."

Hinawakan niya ang kamay ko at marahan akong tinayo. Suddenly embarrassment hit me when the mattress that covers my body falls on the floor.

"Damn." He licks his lips, "You're always tempting, Imos, you know that?" He drops a kiss on my hands.

Inalalayan niya ang palad kong magpahinga sa kaniyang balikat, habang ang kaniyang kabilang kamay naman ay nakapulupot sa aking baywang. He folded his hands on mine and without music we both moved our bodies in a rhythm.

I bit my lip. Hindi ko mapigilan ang ngiti na gustong sumilay sa 'king labi. I never that Moon dance like this. Alam niyang ayaw na ayaw kong sinasayaw ako dahil parehong kaliwete ang paa ko. But with him, nothing is impossible.

Natigil ako nang may maamoy akong kakaiba. Moon stops in my sudden action. With a worried look, he tries to catch my eyes. Napabitaw ako sa kaniya at agad na tumungo sa bintana. Inilibot ko ang buong paningin ko at hinanap ang kakaibang usok.

"Did you smell that?" tanong ko rito.

"Smell what?"

"Pa-parang may nasusunog na..." I pause.

No. No. No! Jake. P'mol.

Mabilis kong pinulot ang damit ko. Tiningnan ko si Moon na may pagdududa. Akmang lalapit pa siya sa akin ng pigilan ko siya.

"Don't you dare come close to me, Moon!" sigaw ko.

"Can you at least tell me what's going on?" he becomes clueless.

Napasambunot ako sa buhok ko. I close my eyes firmly and the memory from earlier started to recall. Hindi ko alam kung bakit hindi ko napansin ito kanina. Sabi ni Aphrodite hindi alam ng Alpha na narito kami pero kanina habang nasa kagubatan ko, bigla na lamang siyang sumulpot. Mariin kong pinikit ang mga mata ko't nakita si Moon na nakikipag-usap sa Alpha.

Napa-tap ako sa aking bibig, "you... Did you sell us? Moon..." Napatitig ako sa kaniya.

Natigil siya sa kaniyang kinatatayuan. Kumunot ang noo niya, and frustration suddenly plastered on his face. Nakakuyom ang kaniyang kamao at nanatiling tahimik. "Ginawa ko lang ang makakabuti para sa lahat, Imos!"
