"Delivery for Miss Pule."
I tilt ny head and find a guy in uniform holding a bouquet of white roses and a gift bag.
"That's me." I get up from my chair and take the roses and the bag from him then I sign for it "Thank you" I say and he nods then makea his way out
"What's in the bag?" Gavin asks with a curious smile and I open it
"Chocolates." I smile
I reach for the small card inside and read it "Beautiful flowers for my gorgeous Rain. Let's go away this weekend."
I can't hide my smile even if I wanted to as I reach for my phone and text him
"Where to?"
"It's a surprise"
"Hint"
"Our love is forever." he sends a smiley face too
"That's the hint?"
"That's all you need to know for now, but you can come up to my office later for more hints"
"Let me know when it's clear"
"Will do. Talk later?"
"Later" I add a heart emoji
I settle back on my chair and find Gavin starring at me
"What?" I ask him
"Nothing, I'm just happy to witness this blossoming love" he smiles and I try to fight my smile, I'm still fighting to keep things professional, but right now I can't really hide how happy Dakalo makes me
I open the chocolates and extend the box to him and he happily indulges "I know you don't trust anyone here, but you don't have to hide how happy he makes you."
"I find that it's better to keep my personal life away from the office, it works better that way."
"But he's literally just floors away from you, and clearly he has no intentions of being subtle about your relationship" he points at my gifts
"I know, and I'm not trying to hide anything, believe me when I say I'm way past that point but that doesn't mean I want to discuss my relationship, so can we talk about something else?" I try to sound polite and luckily Gavin gets the message
We then go back to work, there's a few files that I have to take home with me to work on, yep, I'm on that end now but I really don't mind, this internship is almost over anyway. Later when people start leaving Dakalo texts to tell me that I can come up. I pack my things and the work that I have for the night and take my roses with me then I make my way up to his office. I slowly open the door and lean against it after locking it
Dakalo pushes his chair back, sits back and spreads his legs then keep his gaze on me "Come here"
I set my stuff aside and walk slowly towards him, I love how he always has his eyes on me, its almost like he can't see anything else around him and I'm the center of his attention, how can I not love that?
I decide to straddle him, his arms naturally snake around me and my hands go to the back of his neck
"How was your day?" he asks with a low voice
"It was very nice, Yours?"
"It was okay, I spent most of it thinking about you"
"What about me?" I ask and his hands go to my thighs, I'm wearing pants but the effect his touch has on me is almost like we are having direct skin contact
