You lost me, but then I found you.
Your eyes said emptiness, as they looked into mine.
You're counting the days, for a day unknown
When you reached out, I grabbed and missed.
You fell into water, because I froze your heart.
You had drowned, with the ice blocked between.Hidden promises, never to be believed.
I made you wings, but you fell down.
I lift you up, then you slipped away.
Cursed to break, doomed to fail.Endless love, which is never to be shown.
Regret stands in vain, can't you see?
Grief ensnares me, for forsaking you.
The heavy clouds, that I seemed to have put above. All this pain, writes apologies in blood.
Can't pretend, but doubts are filled.
Attempting to over and over, but missing out.
Hold you close, but still you're so cold.
You're slowly dying, I've drained you empty.Panick grows, I'm still doing anything.
Grabbing a hammer, breaking the ice.
I slam and melt, I love and pray.
For you to be happy, with me in your life. This poem is about my childhood and my teens. I thought this was what a friendship with me would look like. It's a poem about hopelessness and desperation. This poem isn't creative, it's raw.
