A few days had passed since she graduated from the Hunter Exam.

She had taken a few days to gather a peice of memory from the town. She had stayed in a little hotel, and went through nearby shops, buying clothes and trinkets.

Now, she was sitting in an airship with all of her things. Her destination was in York New City, a place called Heavens Arena.

When she passed the exam she knew she had to do something to make something of herself soon. So when she overheard a group of people, she didn't know if they were hunters or commoners, talking about a fighting arena at a shop one morning during breakfast she listened in.

They had talked about this place, a tower spire, called Heavens Arena where Hunters went to get rich.

So while she planned her next big move, it wouldn't hurt to make some money on the side. She wasn't afraid of getting a few bruises, and ultimately thought the experience would be fun.

She had taken a nap, which had appearantly kept her unconscious for hours, and was awoken to the sound of a flight attendant speaking over the intercom notifying passengers that they would arrive within the next 20 minutes.

Still drowsy, she rubbed her eyes. When she looked out her window, she realized it was already dusk. The moon was beginning to rise and the sky was shifting into a dark navy as grey clouds passed by her.

It was bright below her, the city glow and car headlights glimmering and glinting through the sky. The cities lights displayed a slight skyglow like an aurora borealis, but didn't produce enough pollution to block out the bright stars that littered above.

Heavens Arena drifted closer to the airship as the seconds passed. It was thousands of more feet in the air than the airship was, though, when it was face to face with her window, she looked up and could see the red aircraft warning lights at the tip top. The group had mentioned it was over 3,000 feet tall and had well over 200 floors. It was the biggest building she'd ever seen.

The airship had a smooth landing and passengers were quick to begin evacuating.

She called upon a taxi cab which took her deeper into the city than the airport had. When she arrived at the arena, she paid the driver a fare and stepped out before stepping into the building.

The driver had told her she could jump around 20 to 50 floors within winning her first fight, but probably wouldn't get to fight tonight. He also mentioned that there were many decent hotels scattered close around for new arrivals and fighters, such as the one a few buildings down on the same street.

She just wanted to get a look at the place for hitting the hotel for the night.
She made her way into a huge lobby. The first floor seemed to just be shops and cafes, which would probably be turned into a vendor's market during popular fights. She could only imagine how much money the building owners made with the heavy influx of people, fans and fighters.

"Can i help you?" The desk lady called out. Aside from her there were only a few people in the cafe, nobody else was in the lobby area. "No, thank you, i'm just getting a look at the place." Elise smiled. "Alright, well, the fans and visitors curfew is in 5 minutes." She informed politely.

Looking at a clock, Elise noticed it was 11:55, she should probably go about paying for a room soon. "I'll be on my way then, thank you." "Have a good night!" The desk woman called as Elise exited.

Within the next 20 minutes, she had made her way to the hotel and paid for a room. She sat her things by the bed, checked for bed bugs and anything unusually out of place. When everything looked fine, she grabbed a blanket out of her tote and just sank into the mattress, disregarding unpacking for the night.
