Elise woke up just a bit past noon the next day. She was surprised she slept so long, since she was usually an early bird, but figured the jet lag had taken a toll on her. Light spewing through the curtains and casting different volumes of light on her skin.

She stretched before getting ready. Thankfully, she had a single bag full of morning essentials such as brushes, makeup, toothpaste and whatever else, so she didn't have to unpack everything to find what she needed. She did however, have to dig out a change of clothes.

Her style was a constant shift of dark colors to earth tones. Her current outfit consisted of a light brown cami top and sandy cargo pants, accompanied by black combat boots and several necklaces that hung from her neck dropping at different lengths.

She pulled her hair out of the bun it had been in, she watched as it flowed to her waist. Her hair was just as indecisive as her style, mostly dyed raven black except for a portion of her natural light blonde as an undertone.

Her right ear stretched around a thick dark spiral ear guage, while the other wasn't gauged and only displayed a simple black stud. The only other peircing she has was a silver horned septum that hung from her nose.

She brushed it out before straightening it. Then working on her makeup, which usually consisted of just concealer, dark or warm eyeshadow, and mascara. Porcelain skin with soft pink lips and icy blue eyes. She didn't think much of herself, in all honesty, but she was comfortable with her appearance.

Once she agreed with how she looked, she grabbed her purse and wallet before making her way out of the hotel and down the street. The arena was crowded during the day, there was barely space to walk.

"Welcome to Heaven's Arena, please fill out this form." The desk lady greeted once she got through the lengthy line of people. The lady placed a questionnaire on the counter between them.

She filled it out quickly, not wanting to agitate the line behind her, but one question made her pause. An optional question at the bottom of the form that read 'Nen type:' She drew an ex over the slot, just incase.

She was a Specialist, her ability was called Mimic. It allowed her to borrow her opponents ability and predict their next move. She also had her own ability called Light, which allowed her to fully heal herself or others without scarring. Aside from her abilities, she was trained in weilding dual blades.
Although, they weren't permitted in fights here, they remained in her boots just in case of emergency.

Once finished, she slid the paper back to the woman. "Thank you. You'll be number twenty thousand thirteen. They'll call you by your number in the first arena floor." She informed before directing Elise.

Moments later she was walking down a long dark silver hallway towards a giant room with glimmering lights. When her eyes adjusted, she realizes it was the Arena. She made her way down the walk line and took a seat near the front of the seating to examine the current fights.

There were three fights all happening at once in different corners of the Arena, all of the opponents looked weak. Most fights were over within seconds as number kept getting called.

After she watched someone win by knockout, she heard a ref call her number. She made her way into the arena, the stage lights overhead making her a bit nauseous.

Bystanders from the crowd began to complain. "Get her out of here, she'll die!" One watcher called. "What a waste of time and space." She heard someone mutter. "This isn't fair, that girl is basically a freebie for her opponent!" Another slurred. These people were like annoying vultures crowing at anything that moved.

The ref ignored them, looking at her no different. When he saw that she wasn't backing down he began to explain, "This is your first fight so I will be appraising your skill level. You have 3 minutes to display your skills in this match." He looks to both her and her male opponent.

"Hey, man. Can I get a different opponent, I don't wanna hit a girl." He voiced, trying to make it a joke. "Begin." Was all the ref called out in response.

As soon as the words left the ref's mouth she lunges and catches him off guard by swiftly sweeping his legs, sending him towering down with the back of his head hitting the arena floor hard. After a few seconds he stumbled his way up, maybe concussed already but she doesn't show mercy.

He tried to throw a punch but it's sloppy and weak. She takes the opportunity to quickly jap her long nails harshly into three of his pressure points which sends him face first back onto the floor. He doesn't get up this time.

She looks to the ref, who is genuinely surprised by the match that just unravelled in front of him.

"2013," he begins, extending his arm towards her to hand her a ticket. "Proceed to floor 50" he directed here to the exit.

She had eventually found an elevator, not having quite the level of self-hatred as to force herself up all those flights of stairs. She handed the desk woman the ticket the ref had handed her and the woman placed an envelope on the counter in return.

"Here's your reward. If you'd like to continue fighting today, the waiting room is right through there." She instructed, guestering to the door closest to her desm. But when she opens the envelope it's only a little over a hundred jenny, causing her to deadpan at the woman. "You must be joking." Elise groaned. "Don't worry, sweetie. You'll get more after your next match." She reassured.

"What can i even buy with this?" She asked, mostly talking to herself now but the desk lady cleared her throat to get Elise's attention before giving the vending machines by the elevator exit a funny look.

Elise sighed and walked up to it, buying a soda. Then she made her way into the waiting room, She waved lazily with a smile nevertheless, "Thanks anyways." She called, the woman just smiled.

When she walked into the waiting room, she was greeted by a crowd of men. Some were sitting and others were standing and working out, most looked like they hadn't showered in days.

She sighed, it was going to be a long day.
