The next day Tabari was gone. As you sat on the step, drawing shapes in the sand with a stick.
There was a horse with a proud stance, its mane flying through the wind. It was free. No place to be, no responsibility to take, and time to explore all the meadows. Suddenly a child ran past and destroyed the picture.
"I hate children."
You stood up and whispered to yourself "Today will be the day". Each step was followed by a soft creak. Reaching the top, you turned to the sky one last time and observed it. The clouds had gathered and it began to rain a little. You opened the door and saw Impa and Paya sitting at the table, quietly you joined them, just across from the old lady.
Paya's brown eyes focused on the tea-serve decorated with gold elements as if she had never seen it before. You knew at that moment that Tabari had forewarned her. "Tch, let him" you thought. Impa, on the other hand, stared right into your fiery eyes. An eternity passed before the silence was broken.
"I heard that Tabari is ordered to travel for a bit".
The old lady nodded in agreement, while raising her brow.
"Well I'd like to join him."
/"You know you ca-"/
"Then give me a valid excuse, I'll wait."
With a provoking smile you leaned back in your chair and passed a cup in Paya's direction. The white haired looked for help, glaring at Impa but she just nodded again.
/"Sometimes you just have to trust in the people you love and wait"./
"I am done waiting, like for 16 years you've been hiding the truth from me. And if you count on trust, maybe start it with telling me what all this is about. Everyone knows except me."
/"I have told you everything I can and I'm really disappointed in you Y/n, maybe you should get some rest because you seem to have a bad fever"./
Calm a usual the woman turned a page of her book around, without expecting another reply.
"I have always been patient and kind, so stop treating me like I'm the problem. Do you really think I am that dumb? For my whole life I've never been allowed to do anything that potential could hurt me in the slightest while all the other kids gained more and more experiences. I bet that my real mother would understand me. I hate you."
Out of breath you catched yourself spilling the hot tea on your dress. You didn't wait for an answer because you had heard more than enough. Only a loud slamming of the door appeared before the two shiekas were alone once again.
/"Should I go after her?"/ Paya asked concerned.
/"No, she will calm down. At least I hope so..."/ her grandmother returned.

<Y/n's POV:>You found yourself at the next stream. The stains that had appeared earlier just wouldn't disappear from the silk fabric. In all excitement you took off the dress and threw it into a thorn bush. In your mind you had made a decision at that moment, you were aware that it involved several risks and was by no means the most sensible. However, you had your pride and would not let this sit on you.
Arrived in front of the clothing store, Lasli greeted you, with a short wink you hurried into the store, this let the young lady in confusion, because you would always have a short small talk. However, she did not care and continued to sweep the yard.
