<Link's POV:>
Three hours passed after the hero had left the plateau. On the way to Kakariko he had tamed a horse, called Epona. Although the mare had her own mind and wanted to explore other areas than the hero, both got along well right away."You must be hungry", Link said, seeing an nearby apple tree. A passenger looked at him confused, "do we even know eachother?". The sudden embarrassment turned Link's cheeks to a bright red, "Oh, I was talking to the horse."
\"Of course you were talking to the horse, young people these days"\ the guy mumbled to himself, walking away.
Link steered Epona under the fruit tree and stood up, a good exercise for his balance. For the young horse did not hold still. Through his best efforts, he managed to bring down three apples. One for him, one for the mare and one for the goat that had been watching him from below.
"Here you go", the hylian boy said smiling, the goat took it with a suspicious look, as far as it can and ran away. Glancing at the sky, he noticed that dark clouds appeared, more and more covered the otherwise beautiful sky.
For good measure, he dug a dark one out of his bag and put it on. His intention had proven to be correct. Soon it began to rain heavily and a dense fog appeared. To the debt of this and the ever-growing darkness, he could no longer see a thing.
After a while he wondered, from the plateau above, he had not felt that the twin mountains were so far away, he had probably taken the wrong path at some point. This was also a result of the turbulent horse chase he had committed at noon. "I'll just ask the next person I see", he thought.
Shivering from the cold, the hero walked on and on, not wasting a single thought on taking a rest. The coat was resistant to rain, but it did not provide much warmth. In the meantime it had become completely dark and only the moon gave a guiding light. After Link crossed a small bridge, a melody snapped him out of his trance. Epona flinched because of the sudden movement. "A stable!" he mumbled cheerfully.
___
/"Welcome! Haha. Welcome to our fine stable! I see you caught yourself a horse, wanna register it?"/ Lawdon asked with a smirk.
|"Sure."| Link agreed kind of confused.
/"Fine. Yola is going to take your horse and prepare it for further travels ha, while we take care of the paperwourrk, you know the paperworrk."/Lawdon explained.
Link just nodded in exchange, because he didn't understand a word, who even gives a guy with such a strong accent this job.
A girl suddenly came up to Link and held out her hand. She had beautiful brown hair that was tied up in a braid. Her whole face had small freckles that gave her a natural look. Without thinking Link gave her his hand, confused the girl began to look at him and her face had now acquired a pink color to the freckles.
/"What are you doing?"/, she asked with a small voice that didn't fit her cheeky face./"You have to step aside, so I can reach the horse."/
|"Oh sorry, uhm I didn't quite- sorry really."|Link apologized, scratching his neck and giving her space.
/"So ha, pleas sign this here, and wrrit down the name of the horrse... and yourr name of courrs. You can pay me tomorrow, cause I guess you'll stay the night, right?"/ the stable owner said with his eyes half closed, in his mustache stuck food remains from whatever he had eaten the last three days.
