Stressful Night

It had been a week since Gabrielle and Taya banded together and forced the disguised alien to keep her distance. There hadn't been a single sign of her after that. As a matter of fact, there had been no aliens to ever come near Taya. While there was a possibility that the aliens were still around her, just thinking of ways to attack, Taya had been completely left alone for the first time in a while. Things had gotten so great that she even came up with the idea to have a girls night out. No one else. Just her and Gabrielle hitting the biggest club that night. They were going to make sure to keep themselves safe and maybe pick up a man or two. Taya was fully ready to have this type of night. She hadn't one like it in months. But make no mistake, Taya wasn't going to let herself get caught wide open. If she was going to drink, it was only going to be enough to let her keep her eyes open. She couldn't be too sure of someone or something attempting to make an unwanted move on her that would likely end with her death.
The two arrived at the club wearing their best dresses. Taya had on a blue glamorous mini dress. It had completely wrapped around her body so well that it made her feel comfortable. No sleeves and a nice v-neck at the neck line. Gabrielle wore a white mini dress that was more sexy than glamorous. It showed off her back and had the same sleeveless quality as Taya's. Slim fit, yet she still moved smoothly in it. They had not come to play and everyone definitely noticed them upon arrival. With a few jealous stares, Taya and Gabrielle just ignored them and celebrated how good they looked together.
"Hey girls," A voice from behind the pair spoke. "So what brings you to the club? I can't believe how coincidental this is."
"What the hell?!" Taya shouted as she looked down upon Jata, still disguised as a young Chinese woman. "This alien has lost her mind! You want to fight so badly?!"
"Oh no." Jata said. "Well I want to kill you badly. The club is the perfect place to do it too. I will pick my moment and you just have to be ready for it."
"Girl!" Gabrielle used every bone in her body to keep from fighting Jata. "Hey! Hello! You have two of us to worry about tonight! You're not just gonna be able to kill her and not deal with me! You feel me?!"
"I can kill you both without trying." Jata said with a smile.
"What makes you think that?" Taya asked. "No way you can do that in such a crowded place. She may look like an average black woman, but she's smart and strong. That is why you will lose tonight. Why does it even have to be this way?!"
"Okay, we're not having this conversation." Jata avoided Taya's question.
"Tay, let's just leave." Gabrielle tried to level with her best friend. "I don't really feel like ruining this dress. But if you think this is the best way, then I'm all in. Like if tonight is the night that we can finally be rid of this alien trash, then let's do it. I won't let you down."
"I'm so touched." Jata said, still standing in front of the two. "Okay, well, best of luck tonight ladies."
Jata blended in with the crowd and disappeared, leaving Taya and Gabrielle standing beside each other worried. As annoying as it was that tonight was the night that Jata wanted to pull this, they weren't going to let it distract them. They stayed together, partying like it was 1999. While Gabrielle wasn't getting much attention from the men in the club, Taya sure was. It had usually been the opposite at the club since most men in Boston loved Gabrielle's shape. This time, Taya had changed her body so much that she had grown in ways that men couldn't ignore. They all talked about a good game, but Taya only had eyes for Robert. Things were starting to feel weird for her as she felt tempted to even get with one of the guys that was talking to her. She felt like she'd be cheating on Robert by doing it. The stress got to her so much that she began to drink, believing that it'll cause her to calm down some. The alcohol worked for a bit, but it wasn't strong enough to allow her to feel freer.
Taya, at one point, took out her phone and wanted to call Robert. Before she would move forward, she wanted to know if Robert was for real about their relationship. She had missed the touch of her skin. The feeling he'd share with her when they were in bed. Taya hadn't experienced that in almost a month and she was starting to feel the effects of it. There was a very kind and beautiful looking man in the club, wanting to make her feel like a woman and yet, she held herself back for someone that just dropped her. Taya's eyes were glued to her skin, trying to send a text that was good enough to finally receive a response from Robert. She had no idea that someone carrying drinks was headed right for her in the opposite direction.
Bumping into a waiter carrying drinks for a table nearby, caused those drinks to feel in Taya's newly done hair and on her dress. The stains were apparent and Taya was embarrassed. She looked at the waiter who wanted to help her, but needed to do his job and grab more drinks. He left her standing there, leaving to rush into the bathroom.
Taya grabbed as many paper towels as she could to drain the water from her hair and dress. She felt terrible. All of this for a man that's not even here to take care of her.
"You poor thing." Jata said, entering the bathroom and facing Taya from behind. "Doesn't this feel familiar."
"Bad timing." Taya said, still trying to drain the water from her hair. "Could you give me a minute?"
Jata was not willing to wait that long. She took this chance to approach Taya and grab her by the hair. Using all her strength, she sent Taya's head right into the mirror. The attack nearly knocked Taya out of consciousness. Taya fell to her knees, trying to regain some type of vision.
"Remember when I said I was going to kill you?" Jata asked, standing over her prey. "Well now's that time."
Taya had pretended to be weakened only to allow herself the chance of knocking Jata off her feet. The alien hit the floor, giving Taya the chance to stand up and send her foot down into Jata's mouth. Jata was in so much pain from the attack that she couldn't stop Taya from picking her up from the floor and preparing to slam her head into the sink. Jata knew this would likely kill her so she sent her elbow into Taya's stomach. Taya was being hurt by this, but she wasn't letting it stop her from finally ending Jata. She began slamming Jata's head into the corner of the sink. Jata tried her hardest to free herself from Taya, but there was nothing she could do. The young black woman had a tight grip on the alien's human hair. After Taya found Jata no longer trying to struggle, she stopped abusing the alien and lifted her head up. Jata could barely stand at this point. The only reason she was up was because Taya was allowing it. Taya had won. She wasn't going to kill the alien, but Jata deserved it. She tossed her to the floor and left the bathroom.
Gabrielle had been looking all over the club for Taya. When she saw her best friend exiting the bathroom, nothing got in her way as she ran to her.
"Oh there you are!" Gabrielle said. "Thank you Jesus nothing happened to you. How did you manage to escape my sights?!"
"Oh that's simple." Taya said. "I just walked away and you didn't notice."
"Why you little rat." Gabrielle insulted her best friend.
"Yeah, tell me about it." Taya said.
"And what happened to your dress?" Gabrielle noticed how different Taya looked than when she last saw her. "Your hair!"
"It's a long story." Taya joked. "But I finished the damn alien off."
"What alien?" Gabrielle wanted to know the specifics. But before Taya could give her more, someone ran out of the bathroom screaming for help. They had just discovered Jata's body and believed she was a human woman. Taya knew that now was their best time to leave. Eventually the paramedics would arrive at the scene and have Jata treated, only to realize that she was in fact an alien. It was either in Jata's best interest to leave before anyone arrived or let herself get taken in. At this point, it was all up to her. She had lost twice to Taya and now there was nothing left for her to do.
Taya and Gabrielle exited the club together. With both of them having a little bit too much alcohol in their systems, they ordered an Uber to take them home. Somehow it was a fun night for them. They danced, Taya talked to boys and realized how much time has changed since she last went to the club, and finally the alien threat she'd been dealing with had been taken care of. The only thing left to do was to finally get herself a new man or find a way to get Robert over to Boston so they can spend a weekend together. At least this problem was an easier fix than dealing with aliens.

Jata had realized that eventually the humans would arrive and treat her injuries. Once they would learn of what she was, there was no telling where they'd take her. She fled the scene of the fight before they could arrive and realized she was alone. All of the aliens she had with her were absolutely defeated. There was no one she could ask for help. They had either been imprisoned or scared off by Taya. As sad as she was to come to this realization, there was still one more option she had left. Jata knew there was still one more crew she could reach out to. A crew of aliens that were so smart that they'd been undercover on the planet for years. The crew worked undercover most of the time, doing things in ways no other alien crew have. Finding them would be hard since no other alien crew knew of their location, but she was determined. If there was anyone she knew that could do the job of killing Taya, it was this secretive alien crew. Jata was going to stop at nothing to find them.
