After you agreed to it, it didn't take too long to discuss it, delving into the planning of it, and skimming over what may need to be done to solidify everything. It was not going to be easy, that much you could tell as the conversation went on. It would take quite a bit of back and forth for a brief time, venturing back to where you once resided, and back to California. Considering you would have to get everything squared away back in your hometown, go back home to pack away everything, and make sure to put in your resignation notice in with work, and other errands and needs that may have to be done, it would take a good week or so to deal with all that. That didn't include how long it would take to drive home, last you checked it would take a good day or two. After all of that is done, would you then move back here to L.A. Once you were here, where you wanted to be, you then would go through the moving process of getting settled in. Not just getting a job not only to pay for your house back home to still be able to keep it but also to help provide for you and Mark, even if he insisted otherwise in regards to any monetary issues.

Suffice it to say, it was going to be a stretched-out process.

Besides that, there would not just be all of that, but breaking the news to other people about your impulsive decision.

You would need to tell not only your best friend, your family but Dark as well.

Honestly, the idea of explaining everything to both individuals, them and soon enough your family, was all a bit nervewracking. Even if you believed, sure enough, those in your life would support you, but you always had a seed of doubt.

With Dark, it was slightly different. You were getting to know him over these past few weeks and such, but even so, was someone who you honestly did not have much of a read on. He probably would also be one to support you, considering the deal you made to him all that time ago, but even so, you couldn't know.

You had no true idea what anybody would say.

Thoughts such as those, remained rooted in the depths of your mind, as you and Mark drifted down the hallway towards your hotel room. Mark was no stranger to your concerns, you had eventually cracked and had given him a vague gloss over of your worries on the walk home.

As if noting your slight unease, Mark's hand, which still rested on your shoulder connected to the rest of his arm, which wrapped around you, gave a gentle, yet firm grip on you. It was silent reassurance before his deep voice softly murmured, "Do you want me to be in there with you?" His words made your steps falter, his as well shortly thereafter.

You glance over, tilting your head a bit as you considered it. It would be good to have moral support if for some reason anything backfired...But you couldn't be certain. Would your friend be okay with Mark hanging around when you gave the news? It's not like they hated him or anything, but you didn't want them to feel cornered somehow, overwhelmed. You know that making a sporadic choice like yours is a bit daunting. It was something that was going to take a lot of time to pull off...

On the other hand, you would imagine your friend would have many questions, especially considering the living conditions of where you would be moving to and such...Some questions you may need backup on.

Not to mention, some moral support is always good.

You took a moment, looking on as you mulled over the choice in your head. His expression conveyed earnestly, his eyebrow furrowed, a crease forming on his forehead as he looked towards you.

Afterward, with your choice decided, you reply, answering as you keep your gaze trained on his. "I think it would probably be best if you came with...So if there are any questions they have you can help answer them. Also, uh-" You avert your gaze, your hands fidgeting together, your fingers knotted together as you glance back ahead, "I would appreciate the support. If that's okay?" You flicker your eyes to him briefly, almost unsure of yourself.
