BEGIN STORY
Saturday, December 3rd, 2010
It has been more than a week since Sean and his new friends discovered the transformers. Since then, they have gone together on many adventures, the first being to save the world, and then their school projects were due Tuesday and Wednesday.
Sean Rodriguez was initially supposed to present his windmill on Tuesday, but Rafael Esquivel's volcanic eruption forced the school to end class early since there were about two hours left until the campus closes. So he had to present the next day.
Surprisingly, he received the highest grade above all three, with a score of 92%. And when Ratchet was told about it that day, he was sarcastically pleased. And by sarcastically pleased, he threw his hands in the air with a soft shout: "Thank Primus, your project is the only one that pleased the audience for once!"
What Sean didn't tell Ratchet was that he brought his original wooden windmill instead of the metal one. He kept that in his room.
"What happened to Mr. Richard's classroom after Raf's failed project?" you might be asking. Well, the room was closed off for good, but the class itself moved to the gym while a construction team fixed the roof hole. As expected, Raf received a penalty for tripping the fire alarm, but his grade remained at a 79%.
"So what happened throughout the week?"
Well, in terms of the alien robot war, not much has happened. The Nemesis has been detected roaming around the Earth's atmosphere with barely any activity done. Both the Autobot guardians did some Energon scouting across the South American and African continents, while the Decepticons did massive Energon mining near Mount Kilimanjaro, the largest volcanic mountain in Africa. The only interesting thing that happened that week was that while the warship was there, Ratchet managed to decrypt a few minutes of Decepticon radio chatter. It was just a bunch of Cons mining for Energon and talking about "mine as much as we can, for our master depends on it!"
It was at that point that everyone guessed that Starscream has fallen into a state of complete greed.*
"But wait! What did Fowler say about the children?"
At this point, the answer should be obvious. But anyway: despite Agent Fowler's initial protests for the teenagers under the care of the bots, Optimus Prime managed to win the debate by telling him that, because of their small yet noticeable involvement in the war, the Decepticons would've most likely placed them as valuable targets. And as he said earlier last week, "Military involvement will only result in catastrophe," any governmental involvement in protecting the teens may not be enough to stop the Decepticons.
Anyway, business remained as usual for the humans. Raf and Miko were excited about the "TRON"* movie coming out in 13 days. Granted, they don't even know that it's a sequel to an 80's movie by Disney, but it definitely looked exciting to the kids.
It was Saturday morning, while Sean was getting himself dressed for the day. He spotted his small journal resting on his bedroom desk, and so he decided to write for the day.
