[EARLIER...]

We now return to the mysterious conversation that took place in the afterlife between Sean and the two strangers. One of them was identified to be his literal guardian angel, and the other had only been introduced to as a 'fellow friend.'

The two looked around, taking note of the conditions of the humans and Autobots. The old bearded stranger took a good while watching the still, silent silhouette of Sean's Autobot guardian, with a soft smile in his strangely glowing eyes. Stroking his beard, he then spoke up. "Greetings, fellow friend. I figured this would be a good time for us to meet."

Sean didn't know how to respond. "Err...greetings." he then decided to follow the blue eyes from earlier at the tall Cybertronian leader. The concerned look on Optimus Prime's face over his condition made Sean's heart ache.

"What's wrong?" he finally asked the stranger.

Nothing but a simple chuckle came from him. "Oh, nothing. It's just...I'm glad to see your guardian is still in good shape after all these years..."

Wait a minute. Years? Has he...?

"Indeed, Mr Rodriguez," the bearded stranger replied to his thoughts. "Though, it's not in the way you'd expect."

"What?" 'Hold on, can he hear my thoughts?...'

The curved lips on the stranger only seemed to widen a little after that.

Sean's eyes widened in complete shock.'No....no way!'

"Wait, so...how did you come to know Optimus? Like, was he your guardian before? Or..."

The stranger raised his hand. "No, no, my friend," his blue eyes flashed a little, "Let's just say, I was an old friend of his- before the war took its turn."

'Buddy...we just met. I'm not really your friend, ya kn- wait, you knew him before the Autobot-Decepticon war?!'

His smile never wavered, further proving that there was more to this stranger than meets the eye—literally.

But Sean was completely flabbergasted- and understandably so. "Okay, this isn't making any sense. So, you, a human, whom the Autobots are not fully used to knowing, have been friends with their literal leader before the war started?"

"Not quite," the stranger shook his head, which further confused the teenager. "You see, I'm not human- the Supreme Father made me have this organic form. Originally, I was among the Cybertronians on their home world- even before the terms 'Autobot' and 'Decepticon' were first used."

"In my life, I had been a long-time friend of Optimus. We exchanged a great deal of information, and I had taught him many things."

All of a sudden, for strange and unexplainable reasons, the room began to shift, as time itself began to reverse. Jack, Miko, and Rafael, as well as the Autobots began speed-walking backwards, rapidly going in and out of the exit tunnel.

The groundbridge tunnel flashed its lights almost rapidly, going in and out every time the alien robots entered and left it. Until finally, it slowed down after a massive, blue-colored explosion slowly retreated into the portal- and the Autobots zooming backwards into it.

Finally, after a while of waiting, when the Autobots were back inside the base, talking to Agent Fowler from the second floor, and then...it stopped altogether at Optimus bent down while talking to the humans.
