Alejandro
"Please stop."
I ignored the noise and rolled over on the bed.
"N-No."
"Alejandro."
"Hm?" I hummed, still half asleep.
"Please, I'm sorry, I'm sorry."
I rolled over on my side finally facing her, she was not awake. She was tossing and turning, her mumbling turned into whimpers, and she kept shaking her head and bucking her hips. Her mumbling got louder, but I still couldn't make out what she was saying. It looked like she was trying to defend herself, but why?
"Layla, you need to wake up, you're having a nightmare." I whispered, shaking her shoulders gently, but all I got from that was her flinching, and a stream of tears started to run down her face.
"Layla!" I shouted.
"Alejandro!" She jolted awake, almost hitting me upside the head. She looked around the room frantically, and her eyes zeroed in on me, a look of fear and nervousness flashed across her face. She buried her head into my bare chest and I pulled her into a tight embrace.
"It was so real." She cried.
"Its okay." I reassured, planting a kiss on top of her head. "It was just a dream. You're okay."
"But he found me, he found me. I'm so scared, he's going to come for me." She sniffed.
"Who? Who found you?"
"The guy from last night, you h-heard what he said, h-he said he was going to come for me a-and-" She was cut off by a series of deep breaths, I could feel her heart beating a mile a minute against my chest.
I took her gently by the chin, making her look up at me. "Relax, mi amor. Breath. There is nobody here, its just us, in this room." I whispered, drying her tears from her face.
She let out a shaky breath and then another one. "Okay." She sniffed, more calmer than before.
"T-the guy from last-"
"Don't worry about him, he's going to be dealt with before the end of the week. I promise." I went to lean in for a kiss to reassure her of course but to my surprise she stopped me. "Thank you for calming me down, but we can't keep kissing. I have a boyfriend Alejandro."
I scratched the back of my head, "B-"
Before I could get a word out I was cut off by her phone vibrating on the dresser.
I watched her get up and walk over to my dresser and get her phone, her eyes went wide "Its one in the afternoon!" She gasped.
"What the fuck Alejandro! Oh my gosh, school is almost over and I've got like a million miss calls from my dad and-" She paused darting her eyes across her screen.
"Yeah your phone was ringing, it annoyed me so I turned your ringer off." I stated.
She looked at me dumb founded.
I shrugged my shoulders, "What? I didn't want to wake you. You know you're really cute when you're asleep." I teased.
She ignored me and looked back down at her phone, typing away. I sucked my teeth and snatched her phone out of her hand.
