Chapter 6

I looked at my phone. One new message from Katherine. I looked at my phone in worry. Why would she text me. I opened the message and sighed in relief. It read:

'I just wanted to tell you not to come by anytime today in case you were planing to. Klaus will be home soon and he'll be here for the rest of the day.' I quickly replied. 'Ok. Hey btw is it safe to trust Eljjah?' I got a reply instantly. 'I guess. Why?'

'I saw him yesterday. He knew me better than I know myself. He even knew my biggest secret, one I haven't even told you.' I texted. 'What is it?'

I hesitated before replieing. 'I'm part witch. A very powerful one.' I slowly pressed send. Her reply came a minute later. 'I understand why you didn't tell me and I want to thank you for telling me now. I have to go but I promise you that I'l be alright so please don't do anything rash. Just because your my older sister doesn't mean you can protect me from everything.'

I sighed. Why won't she let me protect her when she knows I can. I put my phone down and switched the tv on. I put on Charmed and watched that while I tried to forget that my sister was being held captive by an evil monster.

Klaus's pov

I knew Katerina was hiding something so I decided to do some snooping into the few clothes she had with her. I was about to give up when I found a phone in the pocket of one of her jeans. Now how on earth did she get that I wonder. I took it out and quickly went back to my own room. I clicked on contacts and was suprised to find only one. A girl called Leah. Who on Earth could she be? I quickly clicked on recent texts and was very suprised by what I found out.

Leah was Katerina's older sister who I'm guessing is the one that gave her the phone and that she's here in Mystic falls and knows where we are.

Also that she is very protective of her sister.

Another thing I learned is that Leah is a very powerful witch as well as a vampire and Katerina has only recently found that out. I grinned. I could use this to my advantage.

Now that I knew that Leah was a powerful half vampire half witch hybrid I wanted her by my side and what I want I get. I also knew she was very protective of Katerina and I could use that to my advantage as well.
