Sang
Doing inventory is literally my least favorite thing about owning a business, I have other workers that could do it, but I feel better when I do it myself. I feel accomplished about owning my juice bar that I named Sang's Healthy Juice & Salad Bar. I know, it's not very creative but at the time I was 18 and it was the first thing that came to mind.
Now, I have two locations and it's going great the only issue is inventory is literally a pain. I hear the bell chime and groan because we're not open yet meaning someone forgot to lock the door after they left.
"Sorry, we aren't open yet." I said as I walked toward the register and saw one of the most handsome men I had ever scene. His eyes held an intense glare, his dark hair made me want to run my hands through it.
"When do you open?" He asked as he looked over the menu. I glanced down at my watch and groaned.
"It's fine I open in like 10 minutes, what can I get you?"
"Can I get 9 of your Sang's Green Things."
"Sure that's $25.00." I looked up into his intense eyes as he pulled his card out to pay, the whole time staring in my eyes until it was time to put his pen in. I gave him his receipt than started on his drinks, 9, I wonder if it was for 9 people who looked as perfect and intense as he did. When finished I gave him his drinks in a bag since the top was secure and nothing would spill out.
"Thanks, Sang baby." He said causing me to gasp.
"How did you figure I was Sang?" He gave me a small smile and headed for the door. "Wait, what's your name?"
"North Taylor." I smiled as he walked out, if only I had known how drastically he would have changed my life I probably would have told him we were closed and went back to inventory.
"Sang baby." North called out as he walked into my store. It was almost closing and for the last few months he made it a priority to make sure I got home safely. Two days after he initially came in and purchased his drink, I ran into him at the gym where I Was apparently doing my exercises wrong, so he showed me how to properly use everything.
We got to talking and from there a friendship was born. He still hadn't told me about any of his 9 friends he ordered drinks for, but we talked about us. I told him all about my past and he told me about his time in Greece before coming here and his 2 brothers. Lately, he had been showing me some basic self-defense. I also enjoyed when we went for rides on his bike to the beach, which had led to me calling him my North star.
"Sang baby, you okay?" His intense gaze on mine as I pulled myself from my musings.
"Yes, sorry I'm good. What were you saying?"
"I said it's your birthday in a few days, but I have to go out of town for work. I was thinking we could celebrate tonight. You, me and one of my brothers."
