Rick and Morty, But With You In It.

Rick's Ricktastic mistake.

°(1st Pov)

Today Rick, Morty and I are going on a trip. Into space again, but I mean that's what I was expecting. Rick told the both of us that we were trading some of his weapons for something. Rick didn't state what it was he was trading for though. I didn't want to ask questions. Rick pulled down into the atmosphere of a planet. There was a slight turbulence that shook the car making us rattle slightly as we got closer to the ground. There was nothing but strangely colored forest and then a tall building on a hill. It was large and covered by a blue shield of some sort. As we entered the shield we landed in-between two weird space cars.

"Where are we?" I asked.

"We're at a vacation spot. People go here for  consequence free fun." Rick said in his regular tone.

As Morty got out I got out too. I almost fell on the passenger seat but Morty caught my arm in time. We greeted Rick in the front of the ship.

"Alright, y-you guys stay-" Rick burped stopping his sentence then continuing it. "Stay close." Rick began walking and me and Morty trailed behind shortly.

This was the second time I've supposedly been in space. Another civilization billions of miles away from Earth. Again. While looking around I seen aliens and creatures eating food and drinking fizzy and bubbly drinks. There was tons of windows and a big bar spot that was surrounded by a aquarium circling around as a placement for the wall. Weird fish were swimming around inside. I looked down to see a bunch of kids shooting guns at each other. I paused.

"Uh.. Rick?" I shook out.

"What?" He turned back at me.

I pointed in the direction of a kid with a hole in it's head.

"Oh yeah, that shield on the outside of the building give everyone immortality. Th- thats how this place stays safe. Like how Achilles was dipped into that river or whatever. Nothing can kill you." He stated.

Rick, Morty, and I began to walk again. Morty joins Ricks side to speak.

"R- Rick what would happen if the shield turned off?" Morty questioned.

"Morty w- we don't need to worry about that." Rick paused. "But if that happened, we'd all be fine. Most people here are here because they want a safe place."

I followed behind the two before Rick opened a employees only door. A weird bug looking creature stood before us. It was wearing all black inside. Rick stopped about a foot away keeping distanced from them.

"You got the stuff?" Ricked asked raising a side of his unibrow. I was now by the right side of Rick.

"Yeah." The creature said pulling out a bag. It was powder or something. I couldn't place what it was in my head.

Rick pulled out the guns he had for exchange. So, this man was a hitman? I am assuming by the sketchy area we were in. Rick and the creature swapped items. As Rick, me, and Morty turned to exit the room the bug whispered "gotcha" aimed his gun at Rick. Before he shot the lights went off making the windowless room become pitch dark. I darted for the wall in a scared fleeing like manner while hearing a loud booming noise with a small flash of light. It made my ears ring. When the lights turned off I seen Ricks arm all bloody and him holding onto it with a firm grip looking at the creature with its arms still straightened out aiming at the ground with smoke emmiting from the hole of the gun.

"WHAT THE HELL!" Rick yelled. He was waiting for the shield to do it's work and heal him. It didn't. Rick panicked for a moment while the creature hesitated in his next shot. "Damnit, RUN!" Rick shrilled. We all booked it out the door.

The creature was standing at the door behind us aiming at Rick. It missed. Morty, who was to the left of Rick was panicking. I was trying to keep calm as to not accidentally get myself killed. It was hard though. The ringing in my ears was loud making it hard to think straight. Everything was in motion moving so fast. Too fast for me. While we were running Rick came across a hallway. Before turning the creature aimed at Morty instead. Rick caught on to this quickly. He didn't hesitate to push Morty into that hallway. The bullet whizzed passed Rick's chest.
