°(Ricks pov)
I was busy working on a new invention. Another robot that passes stuff. This time it passes the salt. Not butter. I did some finishing touches and powered it on.
"What is my purpose?" It said in a monotoned robot voice.
"Your purpose is to pass the salt." I answered.
"Oh.." it sighed.
"Yeah, you'll get used to it."
I heard the garage door that connects to the house open and close. It was Morty. He looked more distraught then usual.
"H-hey Rick, so you know that girl that you encountered at the front door right?" He asked.
"Yeah what about her Morty?"
"Well I kind of told her that I had something planned for her.. something big as a welcome back and uh-"
"What, what does this have to do with me?" I asked.
"I was getting to that." He answered. "I thought maybe you could take us to Blitz and Chitz."
"Morty isn't that the girl that we used Mortys mind blowers on to remove any memories of me and her meeting me other before now?"
"You mean you did."
"You didnt protest in that moment Morty, technically you never said you didn't want me to use MMB on her."
"What do you mean?! I protested- y- you were drunk Rick of course you only remember me not protesting. We had other options you know." Morty yelled flailing his arms.
"Morty, we had no choice."
"No choice?! Your the one that erased her mind. There were plenty of other ways to handle that situation."
"What other choices were their Morty?! Geez, y- you don't get the bigger picture do you? If we kept her memories she'd hate both of us. Not just me Morty. You really wanted to loose your 'bestfriend' Morty?"
Morty sighed. I just rolled my eyes. The room was silent for about moment before I took out my flask taking a sip. He crossed his arms looking as pissed as ever.
"F- fine Morty I'll take you guys their tomorrow, just stop standing their like an idiot." I then opened a portal place my flask back in my pocket.
"Rick, where you going?" Morty questioned releasing his angry expression for a moment.
"On a little trip." I answered without looking at him. I stepped through the portal before he could give me feedback.
