Sai Yamanaka

{Annoying Anbu}

"Oh you are so dumb" she smacked his head. Sai pouted and held the bump on his head in pain. Ugh. Kimi. Kimi Suzuki, his annoying comrade. Being a part of Anbu is cool and all but he just hated one tiny factor.

Kimi Suzuki.

An annoying brat who he despised more than anyone or anything. She didn't harm him no. But she teased him. To the point it got him all worked up and nearly began to attack during a very important mission.

But for Kimi it was all fun and games. She took her role in the Anbu very seriously of course. But it was impossible for her to remain calm and composed. Everyone adored her for her playful yet compassionate nature. Except Sai of course.

And now here they were. On a mission to spy on Orochimaru and she just smacked him because he got the directions wrong. What a character!

"Look who's talking" he shot back and moved his position to a closer tree but just far enough to get away from her. Kimi stuck out her tongue although completely invisible due to her mask and and focused back on the hideout.

Later that night, Sai leaned against the tree trunk with the other Anbu Black Ops to discuss their next move. Kimi on the other hand was busy cleaning her knives but her ears were keenly listening.

"Sai and Kimi will take watch while we go back to Konoha" one member said, diverting his eyes to Sai and Kimi. Kimi nodded but Sai rolled his eyes heaving a long sigh.

"Okay" he finalised. "I'll leave you two. Be careful"

Sai nodded and slowly sunk to the hard ground. He half expected Kimi to begin her daily routine of annoying the crap out of him but she simply stared longingly to the burning flames. He could tell her thoughts were running recklessly all over her head. He knew she was coming up with a plan. As much as he hated her, she was an amazing Shinobi. Her skills with Ninjutsu, Genjutsu and Taijutsu were beyond spectacular. Her IQ was even greater than anyone had seen before. Almost all her opponents never made it out alive. She even possessed all the five chakra elements within her.

She gasped. He quickly turned his attention to her. "What?" he whispered.

"Nothing" she replied before proceeding to clean up all the food. "We need to sleep" she concluded.

Performing the jutsu hand signs, a house appeared from the ground and she coolly strolled in, throwing aside her bag. Sai followed her quietly, heading straight into a room all the way at the end of the house.

He dropped his bag down and headed towards the kitchen. Unlike Yamato where he could create a house although it was empty, Kimi could create a house with furniture inside. He opened a cupboard, grabbing a pack of chips and sat down my the table.

"Hey" she called out to grab his attention. He nodded and she walked towards a chair opposite to him.She eyed the bag of chips, gulping down her saliva when he handed the packet over to her. "Eat up" he encouraged.

"I'm sorry Sai" she put down the chips and leaned back crossing her arms. Her eyes penetrated through his but he didn't break the contact. "For?"

"Annoying you. I know you hate it so much"

He simply stared at her trying to figure out why she was confessing randomly but he didn't open his mouth. Kimi finally tore her eyes away from his and gazed through the window. She didn't really speak much after that short apology but she didn't really get up to leave either. He wondered whether she expected something from him and opened his mouth to speak but she cut across him.
