"Naruto!!!" Sakura elbowed him harshly. He winced in pain, side eyeing the pink haired woman who was death glaring at him. Sasuke, amused by the two, just stood between them trying to control his wife from killing his best friend.

"Sasuke-kun let me go or you'll get it from me now!!" she yelled and a fearful Sasuke did the best thing for him while glancing at Naruto apologetically. He stepped aside.

And Sakura attacked him like a tiger.

"SAKURA-CHAN!!!" Naruto yelled in agony but she didn't budge.

"SASUKE CONTROL YOUR WIFE!!!"

"Sorry Naruto but I don't want to get whacked by her" he hid a grin and sat down just watching the two of them like it happened to be the best reality show ever.

After what seemed like forever for poor Naruto, Sakura finally dropped his wounded body and sat beside Sasuke with her face painted in worry.

"SERIOUSLY NARUTO?! YOU ARE SO STUPID YOU LOST THE RING LIKE HOW COULD YOU?!"

Naruto laughed rather awkwardly rubbing his nape though his heart and mind was racing. He panicked but all he could do was laugh in front of his best friends.

"Do you remember where you lost it? Or when was the last time you saw it?" Naruto pondered over Sasuke's question but his dumb brain couldn't think at all. He shook his head sadly hiding his face behind his palms.

"Y/N WILL BE SO SAD! LIKE IT'S YOUR WEDDING DAY NARUTO!" Sakura got up startling the poor man but this time Sasuke held her arm.

"Sakura wait" Sasuke planted a swift kiss on her forehead and that's when she finally calmed herself down. "I'm going to visit Y/n"

Sakura left the room leaving the two boys alone and Naruto sank into the sofa quickly. "Sasuke help me!!" Naruto wailed in despair and Sasuke placed an arm on his friend's shoulder. He sighed and nodded.

"There's still two days. Hopefully we'll find it. Now come on get up" Sasuke slapped his back and Naruto just groaned. He got up silently thanking Sasuke and together the two rushed outside. Moving from place to place took a toll on the two of them and their chakra but they couldn't get give up.

"Let's take a break" Sasuke panted and plopped down to the ground helplessly, attempting to steady his breath. Even for an Uchiha, this was too much.

Naruto stomped around angrily venting it out to a nearby tree. Sasuke couldn't do much except sigh at his stupidity and wonder simply why Y/n even chose him in the first place. Getting fed up of his whining Sasuke pulled him down and flicked his forehead.

"Naruto calm down will you?" Sasuke rolled his eyes and mumbled something about Naruto being a nuisance but he didn't pay attention. Naruto was lost in his world. His thoughts were all you. You were his drug and he was high on you. Just the mere thought of you brought a playful smile on his face.

"You thinking about Y/n?"

"Mmhm" Naruto smiled and closed his eyes. "What do you like about her?" Sasuke questioned.

"If I ask you what you like about Sakura-chan can you answer Sasuke?" Naruto side-eyed him.

Sasuke didn't reply however smirked and sighed. "Well I guess I won't ask you"

"Let's go home" Naruto decided earning a look of surprise from Sasuke. "Why?"

"I want to see her" Naruto added rather simply and headed in the direction towards Konoha. Sasuke groaned though there was an obvious trace of joy in his face. Reaching their village, Naruto bid a hurried goodbye and left towards your home.

He sneaked his way inside like he usually did to find you cooking yourself some delicious ramen. Smiling he leaned against the door watching your movements, his heart more at peace.

"How long are you gonna stare?" You ask placing your hands on your hips, finally turning to glare at him.

"Hmm I could stand here and watch you all day" Naruto smiled and took his steps towards his soon-to-be wife. His arm snaked its way around your waist while his other arm cupped your cheek. It would have been an obvious lie if your heart didn't momentarily skip at his touch but he always managed to do that.

Your arms dropped from your waist moving its position to his chest. He came closer leaving a peck on your forehead and took a seat while eagerly holding his chopstix.

"Thank you for the food!" Naruto smiled and munched on his ramen.

You sat beside him, placing your chin on your palm watching your man cutely chow down his favourite food of all time- ramen. In a matter of two days he will forever be yours and you'll forever be his. Excited by the thought, you lean over taking his hand squeezing it lightly.

"I know Y/n..I know" he smiled while squeezing your hand.

More words needn't to be said.

The two of you just knew what'll happen.

The future was yours and his.

And together you would both seize it.

With great joy.

Along with fear indeed.

But that's what family and friends existed.
