Island with Big Secret Part 1: Beginning

"We're arrived!"

Ayumi, Genta and Mitsuhiko shout happily as they arrived to Twilight Island. Conan and Haibara just smile seeing their friends happy face as they arrived. The adults also smile seeing their reaction and see the island itself which is very beautiful

"It's a beautiful island" said Ran happily
"You're right" said Shinichi smile
"Ah it's too bad that Sonoko can't join us"
"She did say that she has some important family business so can't be helped"
"I thought you will ask Hattori and Kazuha-chan to come with us. You did say that you want to investigate something on this island"
"Haha... I just need Conan to be my partner. Not to mention, I don't want to face Hattori's father to explain if something happened to him"

They walk toward their inn to put their bags in their room. Kogoro was beyond happy as he looked at the travel guidebook for a bar to drink. Shinichi then take out his notes and some gadgets for safekeeping

"So, where should we start?" asked Shinichi to Conan
"Hmmmm..." said Conan as he looked at the travel guidebook
"We should check the folk museum first. Maybe it's related to this island's history" said Haibara as she pointed at a page in the guidebook
"You're right... It might be connected"
"Wait, you're coming too? How about the others?" asked Shinichi surprised
"Professor Agasa and Ran-san can take care of them. They said that they wanted to go to the beach" said Haibara as she's pointing at the back

The brothers look and see that the kids are already change to beach clothes, which they just laugh at it. Ran then approach them

"Conan-kun, look after Shinichi okay. Since he's known for being reckless" said Ran smile
"Oi oi... Conan is the last person you wanted to ask for" said Shinichi
"I will try my best, Ran-neechan!" said Conan smile

Haibara just look at the guidebook without looking at Ran. Ran notice something odd in her behavior, but before she asks, Kogoro shout to her asking for his comfortable clothes which she sighed and goes to him

"Should we go?" asked Shinichi to both grade schoolers
"Okay, let's go Haibara" said Conan
"Yes" said Haibara in low voice

With that, three of them goes out from the inn to look around the island.

Few moments later

Shinichi is looking at the museum while Conan and Haibara are in the other room together. The high schooler just looked around and notice few people are talking in circle, but he just sees them as tourists who are interested on the island's history, so he just let them be.

"Hmmm this is the stuff from the coal mine. So this island used to be an island for coal mining huh" thought Shinichi as he read the guidebook

He walks around to see more about the items that displayed, which he found it amusing that most of the items are after the island became a resort. As he tried to think seriously, a man about to approach him until someone called out for Shinichi

"Niichan! Are you done?" asked Conan as he comes out from the projection hall
"Sshh! You're too loud Conan" said Shinichi surprised as he goes to him
"Ah sorry"

The high schooler and the grade schooler quickly get out from the museum, while the man with the camera around his neck just sigh as he failed to approach Shinichi. Shinichi, Conan and Haibara continue to investigate more as they look around the island as well. When the sky becomes dark, it's a sign that they need to continue their investigating tomorrow, so they go back to the inn.
