"Hey, (Y/N)! Are you alright?" A voice from the shadows called out to me. Slowly, I peeked my (E/C) eyes wide open.
With hazy vision, I could just barely make out the figure that was sat before me in concern. As I slowly regained control over my senses, the muffled voices that echoed throughout the empty white room grew clearer.
"This is lookin' reaaaal bad dude! I've seen enough horror movies to know that whatever this is, isn't gonna end well for any of us!" A brown-haired boy full of alarm perked up as he shook the shoulders of a smaller boy.
"Can you calm down for just a second!" The black-haired and much feistier boy protested as he shoved his friend off of him. "We don't know what's going on. So don't just jump to some dumb conclusion, Taro. It's probably not what you think it is anyway..."
The boy who was once full of fear had seemed to have finally come to his senses. With one drawn-out exhale he looked towards his friend with newfound relief. "You're right, Ryoto. There's no point in panicking just yet..."
With a hard pat on the back that left Taro momentarily winded, Ryoto looked up at him with a cheeky grin. "That's right! So let's just play it by ear for now. Besides, it's not like you to get so serious. You're more of the slacker type anyway~"
With narrowed eyes, Taro slowly pried Ryoto's hands off of him. "Y'know what, that smug attitude is pretty rich coming from a guy who's barely 5'4"!"
With a loud sigh, a boy full of pride slowly approached the duo. "Cease this pointless bickering. The adults are trying to make sense of our current predicament." The boy said with venom laced in his voice before taking his glasses off to pinch the bridge of his nose in frustration.
Ryoto rolled his eyes before clicking his tongue at him. "Geez, killjoy much? I'll have you know that we're taking the situation just as seriously as everyone else, Seiji." Ryoto mimicked in a similarly sarcastic tone, akin to Seiji's own voice.
Seiji merely narrowed his eyes at Ryoto as the two engaged in a stand-off of sorts. With neither one of the two parties showing any signs of backing down, it was up to another party to play the role of mediator.
"Guys, now is not the time to be picking fights." A naturally charismatic ginger boy intervened. "We need to work together right now. Not against one another!"
Seiji slowly cocked his head to the side and gave the boy a look of utter arrogance. "Easy for you to say, oh reverend class president–" Seiji abruptly cut his own words short as he raised a hand to his mouth in forced shock. "Oh wait, that was me. Not you, Hiroto."
Staying calm and collected, Hiroto didn't dare stoop to Seiji's level of snark. In fact, he completely dismissed Seiji's attempts to provoke him as he turned around to face two more boys, sitting calmly on the white marble-tiled floor.
With a quick cough, Hiroto cleared his throat before addressing the silent and muscular boy who sat adjacent to the unconscious silver-haired boy. "Still no signs of waking up?"
The tanned boy simply shook his head before leaning back to look at everyone, exposing all of the battle scars on his face. "I think this is normal for him."
Hiroto cocked his head to the side in confusion. "It is? I didn't realize you two were so close with one another, Daisuke-kun."
Daisuke shrugged his shoulders before stretching his arms out with a long yawn. "We're not. I've just seen him sleep through class a couple of times before."
"It's true." Taro perked up before crossing his arms with a pout. "He even has the nerve to sleep through all of my awesome pranks!"
"Oh yeah? Like that lame stapler prank you pulled last week? Because it was all-so riveting watching sensei try to remove his new tie from it..." Seiji remarked sarcastically.
