In the last chapter, we looked into Riddle's past and saw what he was like as a child, turns out Serenity and he had something in common.
She successfully was able to pull him away from the darkness and now is slowly walking towards the light.
Now they are awakening from their little slumber as they are gaining consciousness as they meet up with their friends.
I wonder how that'll turn out...

"Serenity?! Serenity come on wake up!" Ace's concerned yelling was the first thing she heard when she started to wake up. She grimaced a little at the sore feeling she had felt throughout her body but she slowly started to wake up.
Once her emerald orbs started to open up the first people she started to see were Deuce and Ace's panicked faces and Grim was on there too as small tears were streaming on his face as well as snot as Spook was parched up on his head.
"Minion! Your alive!" Grim wailed as he jumped on her chest wailing loudly as Spook let a loud chirp as he hugged the girl by her neck. She put on a tired smile as she petted both animals "hey... glad you're ok guys".
"Us! How bout' you?!" Ace scolded as if she had just insulted him. He looked mad but at the same time was very happy to see that she was still being selfless "we thought we lost ya there blondie!".
"Ace is right!" Deuce joined in as he scolded as well holding her shoulders in place as she groggily sat up a little better. The blond held her head feeling the garden was spinning a little too much for her.
When her vision returned, she gasped at the state of the garden. The rose bushes were on the ground, vines were scattered all over the place, and the whole place was just a general mess.
"My, what a mess" she mumbled that's when she heard Trey's voice. she turned around and gasped to see Riddle laying on the floor as he started to wake up as well "Riddle!".
She gently pushed off the boy as she shakingly walked over to him, she laid on the ground and gently put his head on her lap. The boys were all taken aback by her action, after what she went through they thought she would stay mad at him.
"Riddle, please wake up," the blonde said gently to the boy. Suddenly RIddle let out a gasp as oxygen had finally appeared in his body "gah!".
"He's back!" Carter said in relief and as a weight suddenly released from his shoulders "well, it's about time... we were just about losin' our heads here—a figure of speech, sorry—'cause we thought you might never wake up!".
