All 4 were frozen as the news reporter went onto the next topic.

"That might not be him right?" Kou asked quietly holding onto that string of hope that matsu wasn't the one they were looking for.

Azusa couldn't close his mouth his frail heart cracking from hurt and fear that Matsu would be taken away from them.

Yuma stormed straight out back to his room where matsu was still sleeping.

Ruki went straight to the phone calling the only person he knew would hopefully help.

Yuma had Matsus still sleeping body in his arms, just wanting to hug the boy. Yuma was rocking the sleeping boy in his arms knowing that it'd comfort him whilst also soothing a sleeping Matsu into a better sleep.

Yumas pov

'It can't be Matsu. He was left in the woods alone, he couldn't have got there by himself. So it can't be Matsu.

Matsu is my brother and that's never going to change'

No pov

Yuma was just breathing heavily cuddling into Matsu's tiny body. Just reassuring that Matsu was there and his little brother. Azusa had walked into the room and sat next to Yuma and Matsu, tears daring to spill from his eyes.

"It....isn't..him........right?" Yuma just stayed silent pushing his face into the boys neck looking for comfort. Matsu was as asleep as a rock, so non of this was going to wake him.

"I....don't....want..my..Ototo..to..leave" Azusa whispered out sharing his feelings.

"What do we do?" Kou asked walking over to the three on the bed.

"Mmmmmmm uma-nii" Matsu said waking up rubbing his head against his brother.
"Why oooo sad?" He asked pulling away from Yuma noticing the sad look on his face.

"It's nothing bud"Yuma tried to reassure the boy pulling his head a little away from him. "Can you go back to sleep for me just for a bit"

"Me no need sweep, me need uma-nii smile" Matsu said not understanding what was going on, just that he wanted his oniisan to be happy. Matsu snuggled into Yuma after kissing his cheek, just trying to make his best friend happy.

"Hey little buddy?" Yuma asked wanting to properly talk to the boy

"Yes uma"Matsu replied letting Yuma ask him a question. Matsu would do anything for Yuma.

"Do you remember anything at all before I found you" Yuma asked hoping that Matsu would be able to remember at least something. Yuma didn't have much hope, Matsu wasn't able to remember much from previous days and this was asking if he had remembered anything from just under half a year ago.

"Bfowe oo find me?" Matsu asked confused not knowing why Yuma wanted to know.

"Yeah, when you were in the woods" Yuma specified softly stroking the boys cheek hoping that Matsu could remember a bit.

"Ohhhhhh, uhuuuuu" Matsu nodded slightly remembering. The boy looking up trying to think. Yuma,Kou and Azusa where listening closely in hoping that Matsu could tell them something.

"What....do..you...remember....ototo?" Azusa asked practically begging that the boy would be able to help them know something.

"My mama" he finishes quietly.

"Did she just leave you?" Kou asked softly sadly smiling go the boy.

"she sit me down, and....say bye bye" Matsu explained trying to remember, moving his arms around a bit trying to recall what happened.

"Anything else, anything at all about that day?"

"......my daddy put me in caw, den mama come. And and and we go. Mama look happy" Matsu said a bit more high toned thinking back to how happy his mama was.

"Did you bring anything with you, or did she bring any of your stuff?" Kou continues trying to piece bit and bit together.

"Ummmm no"

"Do you remember what she looks like little kitten?"

"Um I-I-I dunno" Matsu said his mood dropping instantly, he can't remember his mum.

"That's enough" Ruki stopped the conversation, he had been leaning against the door listening to his baby brothers answers, just leaving him with more confusion. He knew that Matsu was just getting upset and no matter what was happening or going to happen, he didn't want his baby brother upset. But before any discussion could be done a blond had re entered the room.

"I assume you lot need to talk, I can look after Matsu for a bit" Shu said popping into the room. He understood that they should talk without Matsu being there, and he personally really liked the little child.

"Thank you"

Yuma extremely reluctantly let go of Matsu, allowing Shu to lift him up. To an extent Matsu understood that something serious was happening so he didn't cause a fuss.
"Hi suu" he said quietly wrapping his arms around his newer friend
"Hi little one" shy replied hoisting the boy up.

"There's some snacks in the fridge for him" Ruki said knowing that Matsu needed to eat, Shu simply nodded and walked out Matsu in his arms.

"...that...means...it....can't...be..ototo....right" Azusa said after moments of silence just hoping that his brothers could take the weight of his shoulders, and reassure that Matsu was staying there.

"He might have got some bits wrong" Ruki said stepping away from the doorframe closer to his brothers.

"Well from what I hear they left him on purpose. They left him to die, they didn't want him" Kou started to yell out absolutely infuriated.

"If they left him on purpose why are the on the news trying to find him?" Yuma asked out absolutely defeated, completely clueless on what to do now.

"Attention, that's what" Kou had his idea set in stone. After hearing the interview and Matsu's recall of the day, Kou instantly could tell something was up and that these random people could just be looking for attention after abandoning their child.

"That might be a possibility" Ruki said agreeing that it could be the reason.
But before they could talk more there was a knock at the door.

'Knock knock knock'

"Hello we're with the police department, we have been notified of a child possibly living on the premises, this child looking similar to one we have been looking for, for some time. We have a search warrant and have authority to take a child if found on the premises down to the station"
