Griffin's POV:

"Griffin, since you were the last person to see Margo Watson alive that night, what happened in your opinion when the autopsy was released" the lawyer said, as i folded my hands. "When we all found out about the autopsy, everyone started spreading rumors and choosing the murderers." i said, as i cleared my throat. "Interesting, now tell me what exactly happened when you walked Margo home that night.." she asked, as i looked at Blair. "Margo seemed upset, like she needed a shoulder to cry on, and since her and i were friends, i wanted to remind her i was there for her. But then one thing lead to another and we had sex. Afterwards, i told her i would see her at school. Then i left" i said, as the lawyer stopped pacing and faced me.

"Now, did Margo Watson ever say she wanted to have sex with you? did you verbally hear her say yes? or did you assume she wanted too? despite her being in a vulnerable state? did you ever ask for consent?" the lawyer asked, so many questions, it was making my heart race. "I always knew Margo had feelings for me. I could tell, she didn't need to say it. Cause her actions spoke louder than her words." i said, practically dodging the question. "Was the sex consented? did Margo ever actually say she wanted to have sex with you?" the lawyer asked, as i was hoping no one could see me sweating up here. "No, but-" i started, but she cut me off.

"No further questions your honor" the lawyer said, i looked over at Toby, as he smirked at me struggling in my seat. "Your honor, there is no logical point of opening up a sexual assault case towards Margo Watson, cause the bruises from her neck don't indicate he was trying to kill her. It could just be.. rough sex. My client putting the victim in a choke hold during sex isn't a crime your honor." my attorney says, as i tried not to smile. She then stood, "the semen we found has just been proven that it's my client's but that doesn't automatically mean she was raped" she says, as she steps in front of the desk.

"There was no blood found, no signs of forced intercourse, and not a single sign of sexual abuse anywhere on Margo's body. All of this evidence doesn't trace back to a rape. Of course you're gonna find finger prints of my client on Margo's body. During sex, you touch. It's what you do." she says, as the other lawyer stands up. "Objection, the defendant clearly stated he and Margo did not have consensual sex. There for cause for opening up a sexual assault case is necessary" she said. "Your honor just because my client failed to ask Margo Watson if what he was doing is okay, doesn't mean she was raped. It just means there was lack of communication." she said, as i leaned back in my chair.

"Objection! your honor!" the lawyer yelled, "your honor, right now we only have my client's word against a dead girl. A girl who can't fend for herself. It's currently he said she said. And we can't base a case off of such, with lack of evidence!" my attorney said, as the judge banged his gavel. "Until a witness or another form of evidence is brought to the court for the sexual assault case of Margo Watson, then we can place Griffin Michealson back on trial. As of right now, that case is closed" the judge said, as i turned to look at Toby, who was i surprised hasn't gotten up and punched me yet.

"And your honor, i would like to ask to drop my client from the murder case of Margo Watson, cause despite his involvement physically on her body. My client doesn't show signs of real damage or harm on the victim. The reason why he was the last person to see her was because he went to check on her, to apologize to her. That lead to sex, but when he left Margo Watson that night she was still alive. Therefore, my client is innocent." my attorney said, damn my mother is good. Her statement made the court go crazy, as people were screaming profanities and hollering in disgust. "Order! order in the court!" the judge yells, as he bangs his gravel.

"Your honor! we still have questions!" the other lawyer said, as the judge shook his head. "No evidence of being guilty, then no questions needed. As of right now, Griffin Michealson is dropped from the murder case of Margo Watson. We'll reconvene after a quick recess" he said, as everyone rose to there feet. I was too busy smirking at Toby who was furious, across the room from me. I walked out into the hallway, with my parents. I watched Toby pull Blair to the side, "Blair you have to testify against him in there, you have to come forward as a witness and say you saw him raping her!" Toby whispered yelled, as Blair looked around.
