This takes place after civil war and homecoming; Tony and Peter have a stronger bond now too :)

Tony and Peter have grown quite the strong bond, almost like father and son. Peter has a real internship at SI now too. He's the youngest intern and the highest-level intern. Peter spends most of his time in Tony's personal lab, but he also likes to go down to the intern level labs and hang out with the other interns.

Peter smiled as he finished an equation that a few of the interns were stuck on.

"I'm off to see Mr. Stark, I have to ask him a question!" Peter said. Afterwards there were a chorus of "Thank you's" and "Bye Peter's"

When Peter walked through the elevator that leads to the Penthouse, the first thing he noticed were the snacks on the kitchen counter, he made a beeline for the Doritos before he looked at the people staring at him from the living room.

The rogues were here already? Tony had mentioned that they were pardoned and that they would be moving into the building again, but Peter hadn't realized how soon they would be moving in.

"Who are you?" Steve Rogers asked.

After a mini freak out Peter finally answered, "I'm Peter!"

"And what exactly are you doing on this level?"

"Looking for Mr. Stark, have you seen him?"

Steve's face grew slightly confused, "He went to one of the conference rooms to get some paperwork."

"Alright cool, I'll wait then," A few of the Avenger's hearts melted a bit at the big brown eyes that the boy possessed.

An awkward silence fell upon the boy and the people he grew up idolizing.

The elevator dinged, "Sorry that took so long, I got caught up talking to-" Tony stopped as soon as he saw Peter contently sitting on the floor eating Doritos, "Kid, what are you doing here?"

"I knew we couldn't trust him," Steve started walking towards Peter, "Alright Peter, I get that you think that the Avengers are 'oh so cool' but you can't break into this building just to hang out with us,"

Tony burst out laughing.

Steve began to try and pick Peter up, "Wait! Put me down!" Peter protested.

"S-stop!" Tony managed to get out in between wheezing breaths.

Steve had Peter over his shoulder as he turned to look at Tony.

"T-that's my personal i-intern," Tony gasped, still laughing.

"And he's allowed on this level?" Natasha asked, confused.

"Well yeah, he's basically a son to Pepper and me," Tony finally sobered up.

"Aww Mr. Stark, you and Pepper are like the parents I never got to meet!" Peter gushed, still hung over Steve's shoulder.

"Kid, what did I tell you about the orphan jokes?"

Steve finally set Peter on the floor, "Not to make them..."

"And what did you just do?"

"I made an orphan joke," Peter looked up at Tony with his puppy dog eyes.

Tony made a groaning sound, "Kid, you can't use those eyes to get away with everything,"

"I can and I will!" Peter defended.

"They really are like father and son," Wanda commented, a chorus of agreement from all of the rogues followed.
