Guess who's back :D me. Umm so... I only have a slight idea with what I want to do with this chapter :') btw the only people that know his identity are Ned and MJ, he's interacted with Tony a few times, but they aren't super close.

Peter only intended for his identity to remain a secret until May found out. Actually, he intended to tell her right away, but she was so distressed from work and taking care of herself and Peter that he never had the time. It just became a habit to lie to her and his friends. Eventually Ned found out and they made a great team. Peter is pretty sure MJ has found out already too, but you can never be sure with MJ, because, well, she's MJ.

Honestly, Peter is surprised that no one else has figured it out yet. There are so many clues and little hints that he drops just because he finds it funny. And no one, no one, has figured it out yet. Well at least as far as he knew. Why would they keep it a secret from him if they knew? Even MJ doesn't keep it a secret, she seems to not be phased when Ned and Peter bring up 'The Thing.' But then again, she's MJ.

Peter decided to put his suit on under his clothes, he was planning on going on patrol straight after school. He'd finish his homework later. What Peter failed to do, was remember that he had gym class today. It wasn't a big deal, he never intended to keep it a secret for this long.

Peter headed to the locker rooms to change; he changed in his usual spot. His spot was a place behind a line of lockers, where people could totally just look over the lockers and see him change, and sometimes people would change in the same spot as him, but since he was little Puny Parker no one ever paid attention. This is exactly what happened.

Peter took off his shirt and pants, the suit was completely visible. As you probably know, his suit is a vibrant blue and red. NO ONE EVEN BAT AN EYE. Peter changed into his PE attire and that was that. People are so blind. *Eye roll*

When PE was over, Peter went to the locker rooms, and again, no one looked his way when the bright red cloth was revealed to the entire locker room.

Peter went on with his day and no one noticed the red and blue spandex that occasionally was visible below his shirt.

School was over and there were a bunch of girls and guys sitting on the bleachers fawning as they watched the football player's practice. The small space between the building and the bleachers was Peter's usual area to change when he decided to go on patrol after school, the girls and the gays, sorry, guys, could easily look over and see Peter in his suit, but they didn't notice the obnoxiously vividly bright colors.

Spider-Man swung out quietly so he wouldn't distract the athletes.

It was about 4 hours later when Peter was sitting on top of a building with his mask off, eating a sandwich. He heard footsteps behind him and instinctively pulled his mask over his head.

He looked over his shoulder and saw a few of the Avengers. To specify, he saw Iron Man (aka Tony freaking Stark!) Black Widow, and Captain America.

Still chewing, Peter managed to get out, "Hey guys! Need something?"

"Spider-Man-" Tony began.

"Just call me Peter," Peter, said with a smile, although they couldn't see it through his mask.

"Oh um...Peter, we'd like to offer you a position on the Avengers. Your identity can remain a complete secret, we'd just like to train with you, and you can join us on missions when we need a little extra help,"

Peter was a little confused as to why they thought he wanted his identity a secret, but he was too excited to mention it, "That would be awesome! I'd love to!" He could hardly contain his excitement; it took all his strength to not to jump around like a little kid on Christmas.

"Perfect! And you can totally continue to help out the little guy, as you say. We'd just like to train with you once a week at whatever time works best for you," Captain America spoke.

"Alrighty! Is there anything I need to sign or-?" When Peter said that Natasha pulled out a piece of folded paper from her pocket. She handed to him as well as a pen that she also had in her pocket.

Peter signed it and the Avengers, sorry, his co-workers, explained how they would hold a press conference to debut Spider-Man as the newest Avenger.

Peter swung home as soon as the Avengers left, he needed to explain to May everything before this whole press conference happened.

When he climbed through the window, May was already in his room looking frantically around, Peter still had his mask on, so she had no idea it was him.

"Oh my god, Spider-Man, I can't find my nephew! Wait- why are you here? Oh, that's not the point, help!!"

"Relax, May, it's me, there are a few things I need to explain..." Peter said as he pulled the mask off his face.

There were so many expressions that ran across his aunt's face in the span of 3 seconds but the most noticeable one, was pride.

Peter had already explained everything to May when his first training day rolled around, the press conference was the next day. May was super accepting of the whole Spider-Man thing, she was worried of course, but she knew Peter was using his powers for good, and that there was nothing stopping him.

When Peter walked through the door of the training room, he was in his suit, mask and all. He had just finished patrol. It was a quiet day, not much crime to stop so he wasn't all the tired, he was mostly nervous and excited.

"Hey Spider-Man!" Falcon/Sam greeted, "You can totally keep your mask on during training to conceal your identity,"

Again, Peter was confused, but didn't say anything on the matter because he was still super anxious. All he did was nod and begin training with the Avengers.

As soon as training started, Peter forgot his mask was there, so he ended up not taking it off the entire training session.

The next day, Peter was freaking out about the conference. It was his official debut as an Avenger, and he was so scared about how the public would react. He knew most of New York really appreciated Spider-Man, but he still had his doubts.

When he walked on stage, he was in his new Iron-Spider suit that Tony Stark had made him, Peter was convinced his life was fake.

The questions began immediately after Peter was introduced as the newest Avenger.

"Are you still going to continue your daily patrols?"

"What are all your powers?"

"How did you get your powers?"

Peter answered all of them, until "Now that you are an Avenger, are you going to reveal your identity?"

Peter was hesitant at first, and then he realized he had no reason to hide it anymore, "If I'm being honest, my identity was never meant to be a secret in the first place. I was just hiding it until I found the right time to tell my aunt. A few weeks, turned into a year, so I just kept the mask on. She's a super busy lady, she works super hard and she's the one who inspired me to look out for the little guy, and to use my powers to do what I can to help this city." There were a few awes in the crowd, "So I guess not only is this going to be the debut of your newest Avenger, but this is also going to be my identity reveal," The mask came off and a few gasps ran through the crowd. Even the Avengers were shocked. They knew Peter was young, but not that young, "Hi, my name is Peter Parker, I'm a 16-year-old kid from Queens, and I've been your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man for a year now." Peter ended his speech and cheers went through the crowd.

Peter had no idea how much he needed to get that off his chest.
