Later that night, Elodie and the gang was in the student kitchen, making Mal's love potion cookies. The girl was secretly making her own batch of regular cookies with something called chocolate chips she discovered, not wanting to miss out on them but also not wanting to fall in love with some random person.

"All right. It says here that we still need one tear, and I never cry." Mal said, looking defeated.

"Let's just chop up some onions." Carlos suggested, picking up the bag of eye-watering vegetables.

"No. It says that we need one tear of human sadness. And this love potion gets the best reviews, so we have to follow it exactly." Mal replied.

"A tear's a tear." Jay said, annoyed.

"That's not true, Jay. They both have antibodies and enzymes, but an emotional tear has more protein-based hormones than a reflex based tear." Evie explained.

"Wow, look at you!" Elodie exclaimed, happy that the girl could express her brains and not pretend to be dumb like her mother wanted.

"Yeah, I knew that."

"No, you did not." Elodie said, rolling her eyes at the Jafar boy.

"There you are, Mal! I was looking for you." A new voice exclaimed, barging through the closed door. The redhead recognized it to be Lonnie's. "You know, all the girls want you to do their hair!"

Mal and Evie chuckled, Elodie walking closer to Jay and Carlos. "I'm one hundred percent gutting everyone here tomorrow." She whispered, into the de Vil boys ear.

"Midnight snacking, huh? Whatcha guys making?" Lonnie asked.

"Nothing special. Just cookies." Mal said, scrunching her face up.

Lonnie, hearing the word 'cookies', immediately swiped her pointer finger in the batter, assuming it was okay.

"No, don't!" All five of the villain kids yelled, but the girl had already put her batter covered finger in her mouth.

"What? I'm not gonna double dip." Lonnie said, confused. Thankfully, she showed no signs of the potion working, as the reaction would be almost instant.

"Feel anything?" Evie asked, cautiously.

"Yeah, like maybe it might be missing something?" Mal continued, equally as cautious.

When Lonnie didn't react, Jay took the chance to make her fall in love with him. "Hey there." He flirted with a slight wave of his hand, leaning on a pole. They stared at each other, and Jay gave her a big smile and got a tight lipped one in return.

"It could use some chips." Lonnie said, walking over to the pantry.

Jay looked confused and slightly disappointed. "Chips?" he asked himself.
